Car Seats

To fit correctly, the shoulder belt of your regular car seat should lie across the chest, not on the neck or throat. The lap belt must be low and across the thighs, not riding up on the stomach (belly). Serious injuries can happen if these belts are not worn in the proper location.

Also, your child should be able to sit against the back of the seat, with her legs bent and her feet hanging down (not sticking straight out in front of her).

NEVER put the shoulder belt behind your child's back.
