Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking dyphylline (the active ingredient contained in Lufyllin-400) hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have:

pounding heartbeats or fluttering in your chest;

a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out;
-
coughing up blood;
-
muscle twitching, seizure (convulsions);
-
confusion, tremors or shaking;
-
high blood sugar--increased thirst, increased urination, hunger, dry mouth, fruity breath odor, drowsiness, dry skin, blurred vision, weight loss; or
-
worsening or no improvement in your breathing symptoms.
Common side effects may include:

nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea;

headache;
-
sweating, or flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling);

sleep problems (insomnia); or
-
feeling restless, nervous, or irritable;
