Dicloxacillin Pregnancy Warnings
Dicloxacillin has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. There are no controlled data in human pregnancies. Dicloxacillin should only be given during pregnancy when need has been clearly established.
Dicloxacillin Breastfeeding Warnings
There are no data on the excretion of dicloxacillin into human milk. Adverse effects in the nursing infant are unlikely. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering dicloxacillin to nursing women.
