What is Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch?
Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch (for the skin) is a combination product used in adults and children at least 12 years old for temporary relief of pain.
Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch and call your doctor at once if:

severe skin irritation develops;

condition worsens;
-
pain lasts more than 7 days; or
-
pain goes away and then comes back within a few days.
Less serious side effects may be more likely, or you may have none at all.

Before taking this medicine
You should not use Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch if you are allergic to it.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe to use Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch if you have sensitive skin.
Ask a doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you breastfeed, avoid applying this medicine to your nipple area.
How should I use Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Wash your hands before and after applying this medicine.
Do not take by mouth. Topical medicine is for use only on the skin. Do not apply to open wounds or on sunburned, windburned, dry, or irritated skin.
Clean and dry affected area. Apply Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch to pain area not more than 3 times a day.
Do not bandage treated skin or expose it to heat. Your skin may absorb the medicine, which could cause harmful effects.
Do not apply this medicine within 1 hour before or 30 minutes after you take a bath or shower.
Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch is used when needed. If you are on a dosing schedule, skip any missed dose. Do not use two doses at one time.
What happens if I overdose?
Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medicine.
What should I avoid while using Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch?
Avoid getting Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch in your eyes or mouth.
Rinse with water if this medicine gets in your eyes or mouth.
What other drugs will affect Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch?
Medicine used on the skin is not likely to be affected by other drugs you use, but many drugs can interact. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
