Should I take Qelbree morning or night?
According to the manufacturer, Qelbree (viloxazine) can be taken any time of day, but should be taken at the same time every day. Qelbree is an extended-release capsule that is taken once a day. It is a non-stimulant medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in people 6 years and older.
Like many medications, Qelbree works the best when taken consistently every day. Choose a time that you will remember to take your dose each day. Because Qelbree capsules can be opened and the contents sprinkled onto applesauce or pudding, you might want to give your child their dose each day at snack time. Qelbree should be consumed within 15 minutes after sprinkling it onto pudding or 2 hours for applesauce, but do not store it for future use.
Is it better to take Qelbree in the morning or night?
You can take Qelbree in the morning or at night, but there are some things to consider when choosing the best time to take your dose. Qelbree comes as an extended-release capsule, which means the medication releases slowly into your body over time after taking a dose. However, it might work better for some people when taking it in the morning versus at night. For others, a dose in the evening might work the best. Qelbree also has some side effects that may determine the best time for you to take it.
During clinical trials submitted to the FDA for approval, Qelbree caused drowsiness in up to 19% of children and 6% of adults. However, it also caused trouble sleeping in up to 5% of children and 23% of adults. Everyone who takes Qelbree will respond to the medication differently. If Qelbree is causing you to feel very tired during the day, try to take your dose at night. If a nighttime dose of Qelbree is making it hard to sleep, try changing your dose to the morning. Never take more than one dose of Qelbree per day.

Qelbree vs Adderall: What's the difference between them?
Qelbree (viloxazine ER) and Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) are oral medications used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults and children. Differences are that Qelbree is a long-acting, once daily nonstimulant medicine and is less likely to cause trouble with sleeping or lead to abuse. Adderall is a short-acting stimulant medication given 1 to 3 times a day, is a C-II controlled substance, and can be abused.

Adderall vs Vyvanse - What's the difference between them?
The main difference between Adderall and Vyvanse is that Adderall is a mixture of four different kinds of amphetamine salts (one of which is dextroamphetamine) while Vyvanse only contains one type of amphetamine salt, called lisdexamfetamine. Lisdexamfetamine gets converted into dexamphetamine once it is in the body. One advantage of Vyvanse is that it may be less likely to be abused; although it is slightly more expensive than Adderall, although both have generic forms available. Because both drugs contain amphetamines, they work in a similar way. Studies have shown that Vyvanse is just as effective as Adderall, and side effects, including the risk of dependence, are similar.
