Can I take Aimovig a few days or a week early?
The recommended dosage of Aimovig (erenumab) is 70 mg or 140 mg once per month, per the FDA-approved prescribing information. The medication was taken once a month by participants during studies to prevent migraines. What are the side effects of Aimovig?
The most common side effect of Aimovig is injection site reactions. These can include pain and redness where you inject the medication. Other side effects reported during clinical studies of Aimovig were constipation and cramps or muscle spasms. Additionally, some people have reported new or worsening high blood pressure after taking Aimovig.
Can I use Aimovig twice a month?
