You can access the Quviviq savings card from the manufacturer’s website or you can call 1-866-303-1222 for more information. Get your first 30-day prescription for as little as $0 and 30-day refills for $25, if you qualify. When you fill your Quviviq prescription, give the card to your pharmacist who can apply the savings to your copay.

Quviviq (daridorexant) is an oral prescription medicine used to help adults who have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep (insomnia). Quviviq is designed to help adults fall asleep more easily and sleep through the night.

It is taken once per night 30 minutes before going to bed. When you take Quviviq, you should have at least 7 hours remaining to sleep before a planned awakening.

    Does my insurance cover Quviviq?

You may be eligible to use the Quviviq Savings card, also known as the QSavings Card, if you have commercial prescription insurance. Commercial insurance is typically the kind provided by your employer or that you have purchased from the Healthcare Marketplace. The savings may be available to you whether your prescription plan covers Quviviq as a benefit or not.

The Quviviq Savings Card is not valid with federal or state-sponsored government insurance, like Medicare Part D, Medigap, VA, Medicaid or Dept. of Defense plans.

Maximum yearly savings apply and your out-of-pocket expenses may vary. The Quviviq savings card is not valid for cash-paying patients and is not a form of health insurance. ConnectiveRx manages the copay card program on behalf of Idorsia, the manufacturer of Quviviq.

The Q & You Patient Education Program can also provide more information on savings, sleep tips, and Quviviq information. For further questions, call 877-478-8484 (M-F 8AM-12AM ET, Sat-Sun 9AM-5PM ET).

How much does a one month supply of Quviviq cost?

If you are paying cash, the cost for Quviviq 25 or 50 mg oral tablets is about $530 for a supply of 30 tablets. This price may vary depending on the pharmacy you visit and if you have any discount cards or coupons. These prices are not valid with insurance plans.

This price guide is based on using the Drugs.com discount card which is accepted at most U.S. pharmacies.

Is there a generic for Quviviq?

No, at this time there is not a generic option for Quviviq. Quviviq is a brand name for daridorexant, a medication used to treat insomnia (trouble getting to or staying asleep). Quviviq was first approved in Jan. 2022 and may be under patent until 2033 or longer. It is manufactured by Idorsia Pharmaceuticals.

How does Quviviq help with my sleep problems?

Quviviq is thought to work by turning down overactive wake signals in your brain, one of the causes of insomnia. Quviviq helps adults fall asleep more easily and sleep throughout the night.

Quviviq's mechanism of action involves blocking orexin, a chemical in the brain that may promote wakefulness. Quviviq blocks orexin from binding to its receptors, which helps the brain to calm down and prepare for sleep.

    Is Quviviq a controlled substance?

Yes, Quviviq is a CIV controlled substance but it is not benzodiazepine like Valium or Xanax. It belongs to the drug class called orexin antagonists. It is a controlled substance because it can be misused, abused or lead to dependence.

If you have been prescribed this medicine, keep it in a safe place to prevent theft, misuse and abuse. Selling or giving away Quviviq may harm others and is against the law. Also keep it away from children and pets as it could be harmful if accidentally ingested.
