How long does it take Rystiggo to work?
Rystiggo (rozanolixizumab) may start working within one week of the first dose. In a clinical trial, patients saw improvements in daily activities affected by generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) by the end of six weeks of treatment.
However, individual responses vary, and not everyone will experience symptom improvement. If you have concerns about your progress, discuss them with your healthcare provider.
How Does Rystiggo Work?
Rystiggo is a monoclonal antibody that targets the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). By blocking FcRn, Rystiggo helps reduce immunoglobulin G (IgG) autoantibodies, which are proteins that mistakenly attack the body's own cells.
This reduction in IgG autoantibodies can help restore acetylcholine signaling between nerves and muscles, potentially leading to improved muscle strength.
