Once you remove Aimovig (erenumab-aooe) from the refrigerator, you must use it within 7 days. Keeping Aimovig at room temperature may be convenient if you are traveling or do not have access to a refrigerator. After it has been at room temperature for 7 days, throw it away.

Keep Aimovig in the original packaging in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) until you are ready to use it. Do not freeze Aimovig. Once you are ready to give a dose, remove Aimovig from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Do not heat it up or place it in direct sunlight, because this can damage the medication.

Can I put Aimovig back in the fridge?

No. Do not put Aimovig back in the refrigerator after it has reached room temperature. You must use the medication within 7 days, and after this time throw it away.
