Drug Interactions between Cycrin and tovorafenib
This report displays the potential drug interactions for the following 2 drugs:
- Cycrin (medroxyprogesterone)
- tovorafenib
Interactions between your drugs
medroxyPROGESTERone tovorafenib
Applies to: Cycrin (medroxyprogesterone) and tovorafenib
Tovorafenib may reduce the blood levels of medroxyPROGESTERone, which may make it less reliable as a form of birth control. Alternative or additional methods of birth control should be used during treatment with tovorafenib and for at least 28 days after stopping treatment to avoid unintended pregnancy. This is particularly important because tovorafenib may cause fetal harm. Talk to your gynecologist or other healthcare professional for help in selecting an effective method of birth control that is best for you. Men with female partners of reproductive potential receiving tovorafenib should use a condom during the treatment period and for at least 2 weeks after stopping treatment. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
