Using fospropofol together with diphenhydrAMINE may increase the risk of side effects such as irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, prolonged sedation, dizziness, and fatigue. Your healthcare team will monitor you closely and adjust the dose accordingly during procedures requiring fospropofol for anesthesia and/or sedation to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all the medications that you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Ask your doctor before using diphenhydrAMINE together with ethanol (alcohol). Use alcohol cautiously. Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness while you are taking diphenhydrAMINE.
