Uses for tirbanibulin

Tirbanibulin topical is used to treat actinic keratosis on the face or scalp.

This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Allergies

Pediatric

Appropriate studies have not been performed on the relationship of age to the effects of tirbanibulin topical in the pediatric population. Safety and efficacy have not been established.

Geriatric

Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of tibranibulin topical in the elderly. However, elderly patients are more sensitive to the effects of this medicine than younger adults.

Interactions with Medicines

Although certain medicines should not be used together at all, in other cases two different medicines may be used together even if an interaction might occur. In these cases, your doctor may want to change the dose, or other precautions may be necessary. It is very important that you use this medicine only as directed by your doctor. Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, and do not use it for a longer time than your doctor ordered. To do so may cause your skin to become irritated.

This medicine is for use on the skin only. Do not get any of this medicine near or around your eyes, mouth, or lips. If it does get on these areas, rinse it off with water and check with your doctor right away, especially if you have red, sore eyes.

If you miss a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.

Throw away any open packet after use even if there is still medicine left in it.
