Yohimbine "As an upcoming psychiatrist and a sufferer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, I studied many ways to counteract the sexual side effects caused by SSRIs. Although this medicine is not commonly prescribed in the US, it's available in my country, and with three times a day administration, it did increase libido and anorgasmia. Nevertheless, some side effects are very discomforting, and include diaphoresis, anxiety, and hypersalivation."

"I suffered a prolonged medication-induced erection twice in one week. They were both so painful that I had to go to the ER to have my erection surgically drained. An awful and embarrassing experience altogether, especially while two pretty nurses checked me in to be seen and giggled. I had recently been prescribed trazodone for sleep. "I took Lexapro and it took away my libido and never got it back even after discontinuing the medication. This helped a lot, maybe too well. I take a GNC extract which is 500 mg of yohimbine bark and 9-ish mg of the Yohimbe alkaloid itself. While it did cause extra salivation, it was a plus in my book because I also take Adderall, which makes my mouth super dry. I find the effects to be manageable. I could take one and go to sleep, probably because I'm used to stimulants. Overall, great stuff! If you have ED, try it out. Couldn't hurt to try!"
