Gemtesa (vibegron) "Gemtesa has helped me considerably to ease my overactive bladder. I am now able to sleep better, only getting up 1 to 2 times a night where I was getting up 4-5 times before. The urgency to urinate has subsided also. Able to drive longer distances without having to stop. It considers this medication to be a life changer."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I've been taking Gemtesa for three years, with great success. I no longer need to know where a toilet is for stopping every 15 minutes while driving. At first, in 2021, my UroGyn needed to write a letter to my insurance company for them to cover Gemtesa. Thankfully, insurance now covers it."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "Went on Gemtesa after my doctor took me off Oxybutynin due to the blood-brain barrier issue and it causing dementia and confusion. Tried solifenacin, which didn't work for me at all. Gemtesa was great, was on it for 3 weeks with samples from the doc. Worked perfectly, no side effects at all for me. Unfortunately, with insurance and a coupon from the website, the cost is $95 a month, so this drug is out for me, and we'll see if I have better luck on a 4th option."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I've had overactive bladder following a TURP procedure to correct an oversized prostate gland. My urologist gave me some physician's samples that lasted for about a month. The results were excellent! I had more control over urination that saved many embarrassing moments. I notified the doctor (Jason Reynolds in Elizabethtown, KY) for a prescription. Bad news! Gemtesa isn't covered under my insurance plan and the cost was $1600. Dr. Reynolds is trying to get a special release of this medication for my condition, but so far no luck. I've used all of the sample stock as of 11/2. My symptoms of incontinence have returned."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "Oxybutynin Chloride and similar gave me bad side effects and didn't really work anyway. Gemtesa has been a life-changer. First day I noticed an immediate positive result. Very happy with this as it means I can leave the house for longer periods of time. Don't really notice side effects. I perhaps 'sleep warmer' than before Gemtesa, but I sometimes 'slept too warm' at night anyway. Female, age 74."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "So far so good. I have a few weeks' samples. After investigating the cost and what Medicare covers, though, I'm sad. Because of the cost, once the samples run out, I can't afford it. I don't qualify for the discounts or plans for help. It's sad and crazy."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I have just started on this drug to treat OAB. The doctor warned me to try this and gave me six weeks of samples. The dosing is one 75mg tablet a day. I was previously on Myrbetriq. That drug just stopped working, and my pharmacy had problems getting it."

"My first week of taking this product was the best. I was able to sleep better because my trip to the bathroom to pee was only two and I was rested the next day. As a result, my mood was better and I was happier. There were also fewer bathroom trips during the day and no peeing accidents, not being able to hold my pee. After that, I still have fewer bathroom trips day and night but have peeing accidents once in a while, especially when I drink my usual 8 glasses of water. Overall, this product works for me but it is too costly."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "Nine days after I started taking Gemtesa, I could make it to the bathroom without leaking and needing to change my pad. Within 3 weeks, I could go 4 hours without leaking day or night. Now, occasionally if I go over 5 hours, I sometimes leak a small amount. I would say it has improved my problem by 95%. Side effects I have noticed are a runny nose and a headache."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "Gemtesa worked for me in just a few days. I've been on it for six weeks. I have had some gastro issues but don't know if Gemtesa is the cause. I also have some redness on my chest, not quite a rash, and don't know why that would happen suddenly after six weeks of use. Nothing that will cause me to stop using it. I'm very happy with the results of less urgency, fewer trips to the bathroom, and I can sneeze without leaking. Not having to always think about general overactive bladder issues is a game changer for this busy senior citizen. Pretty wonderful."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I was on samples for about 2 months. Worked great. Originally on oxybutynin. Barely worked. I had results with Gemtesa from day 1. I’m thirsty as all get down. I’m constipated. Loved the medicine. Costs not so much. I have private insurance and it’s over $1700 for a 90-day supply. Good RX hardly put a dent into it. Tried Gemtesa’s coupon. It really wasn’t helpful for me because my insurance wouldn’t pay for it at all. The other option to get the price down to $90.00 a month also didn’t work for me because of the out-of-pocket price. That program works by giving you about $400 a month for the meds. My pharmacy was nearly $600.00 per month so it still would’ve been nearly $200.00 a month. The company gave me a 3rd option. It appears they appealed to the insurance company for approval and it failed also. I wish it were more obtainable. Now we’re looking into other options like Botox, sacral Neuromodulation. Good luck to all of you in finding success."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "Gemtesa was the first medication that improved multiple issues I had with overactive bladder. It was effective and with quick results. I did not experience any side effects or problems with Gemtesa. I would, very much, like to continue taking it; however, with my insurance payment, I had to pay $200 per month. With fixed income, Social Security, and other medications I take, I cannot afford to continue Gemtesa. Great product; too expensive. Thanks."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I cannot RAVE enough about this drug. ZERO side effects. It started working after the first dose. I could cry. I have my life back. My urologist gave me a 2-month supply, but my cost through insurance is $165 for a 90-day supply. WORTH EVERY PENNY!"

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I am not getting up at night as much by using Gemtesa. However, it is really expensive and I have new insurance, so I'm not sure if I can get a break. My last insurance charged me $70 for 90 days. The normal co-pay is over $300."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "My urologist prescribed this medication for me when I complained of total urinary incontinence and that I wasn't liking having to wear depends all the time, changing them sometimes 4-5 times a day. She gave me a sample of this pill and if it didn't help, that we would meet in a month to discuss other options. It has helped me tremendously with no side effects whatsoever. The only negative comment I have is the high cost of the pills and they are not covered by my Medicare plan."

Gemtesa (vibegron) "I would give Gemtesa a 4-star rating. Considering the high cost of the drug makes the drug not affordable. With the other drugs I take Jardiance and Entresto and other medications, the cost of these drugs is beyond affordable. The so-called assistance program for cost support is not attainable if you have insurance coverage you purchase. I am on Medicare and purchase supplemental drug coverage. The donut hole takes all my income."
