For Bacteremia "The IV antibiotic given via PICC line is causing me to have thrush mouth. I take Rocefin once a day and Vactomycin every 12 hours. I am feeling better, but I am dealing with a lot of indigestion and a sour stomach. I was told by my physician that I will be taking this treatment for one month."

For Meningitis "I was on IV Vanc for various different things (pneumonia, meningitis, and shunt infections) in the last 8 years. It helped clear up the problems but did make me very sick (vomiting) and diarrhea, but was nothing compared to the original problems! Very strong A/B but very powerful also."
