"I think probably for those that have a history of anxiety or heart palpations this product should not be taken. I read the side effects and thought it would be no different than the Flonase I had been taking. I have a history of anxiety and take medication for it, so I always check. I failed to check this sites to read reviews before I began taking it. I started taking it last Wednesday. By Saturday night I couldn't sleep because my heart rate was elevated to 102-108 BPM. It took about 6 hours for my heart to regulate and I had taken it in the morning, not at night. I didn't realize it was the Nasacort so I took it again in the morning. I had the same experience with sleeping and heart rate. Monday I decided to take none of my medicines except my anxiety and GERD meds and slept like a baby. Silly me, still doesn't put two and two together so I took it again this morning and then began to work and felt my heart rate speed up so I came to this site...BINGO! never again!"

"Nasacort has absolutely made my nasal congestion and runniness a problem. I've been using Nasacort for a couple of months. From the outset, after my morning dose (snorting it is not a problem), I would find my nose immediately became runny. If I went cycling I'd find myself with a stuffy nose and post-nasal drip -- classic allergic reactions to my environment. The Nasacort was not helping a bit. In fact, it seemed to be aggravating my allergies. And they don't exactly give this stuff away. So I am doing without Nasacort and will probably switch to a prescription inhaler next time I see my allergy specialist."

"I’m a 21 y/o female with spring allergies. I’ve been taking other allergy meds regularly but they weren’t cutting it this year. I started taking nasacort and to be fair it did definitely help with congestion and post nasal drip!! For the first day I was feeling good about it and then came the headache. It felt like I was getting punched in the eye socket and teeth constantly. Ibuprofen doesn’t help at all and the only remedy for this pain was 8 hour acetaminophen. It’s slowly making its way out of my system but I’ve had constant pain since the last dose around 36 hours ago. Overall, in my experience, it wasn’t worth it. I’ll deal with some post nasal drip over this debilitating migraine any day."

"I took this last night and this evening to try and help my Rhinitis. After an hour of taking it, I'm pretty wired in more than one way. When I normally have anxiety, I shut down and withdraw, but this medication not only induces anxiety, but it makes me need to do something physical to get energy out. Like run. So I know this isn't me. I also have found out that patients with Afib shouldn't be taking nasal steroids due to them being able to induce an episode. Thankfully, I'm starting to feel it wear off. I took it almost 3 and a half hour ago and am finally starting to feel tired enough for bed, so my body is slowly coming down from it. It works darn well as marketed, I'll give it that, but with Afib, I can't risk it. I honestly don't mind the anxiety or the wiredness, but it's not for me."
