"Caught tinea. We first assumed it was from the gym turned out to be our two year old puppy. Due to the temperature and humidity it spread all over my legs. The GP prescribed a antifungal tablet and recommended a terbinifine cream to combat the aggressive infection. Terbinafine and Lamisil are the same thing. No side effects from the topical cream and it significantly reduced the itching. My only complaint is the cost. 10-14 dollars an ounce. Over the course of two months I’ve probably used 40-50 ounces leading to a hefty bill. It works well but it’s expensive."
