"I totally understand all of your side effects from tafamidis. I have the exact same problems. The wheezing at night, the brown phglem has since changed to clear phlgem. Very dry mouth that I have get up to rinse with water then I use biotene rinse for dry mouth. But 2 hours later need to rinse again. Lack of sleep (Insomnia). I went to a sleep monitor Dr. for lack of sleep and he gave a medication that only lasts for 2 hrs. Then back to rinsing and up for the day. There are side effects that are never mentioned because the Drs. that prescribed Tafamidis are not aware of them."

"I started taking this medication (tafamidis) as suggested. Four 20mg pills all at once. One day later I started to experience severe shortness of breath, wheezing (most at night) cough and choking with large brown phlegm like substance, severe dry mouth at night, and insomnia. The Doctor cut the medication down. But my system can't get accustomed to this medication."

"I have been taking Tafamidis since January of 2019 - switched to Vyndamax in March of this year, 2020. I must say that I have not experienced any significant issues with either medicine. How effective it is I am not sure of."
