"Had surgery because of nasal polyps and was recommended to use saline nasal rinse, the 1st week of 2 I was blowing out mucus but 1 day I went to do a rinse while my nose was stuffed up and water wouldn't come out the left nostril and all of a sudden my ear drum pop or felt like it pushed out during the rinse, a headache followed. It is going on 5 days and every morning I wake up with a headache, sometimes the pain is my cheek area, sometimes my eye socket and the top and back of my neck, when its sunny out side it hurts my eyes and I also notice when I been down it feels like blood is rushing to my head almost like a throbbing pain. Aleve helps but the headache comes back. I decided to look online to see if anyone else were having these side effects, glad to know I'm not the only 1...I never had a headache that lasted this long and I am a bit worried now :/"

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) "I sprayed some of this in my nose and my nose instantly started swelling up swelling up. I read the ingredients and it's even got alcohol. I pulled out a neil med that's just saline and water. Put it in the Ayr sprayer and immediately my silences started clearing up. I will never use AYR again. Also it seems to leave some sort of a nasty residue in the back of your throat I'm not sure what's happening there."

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) "I was using regular saline every night for dry sinus’ , then my Dr recommended using ayr gel because it was gentler and lasted longer than saline, but now I have a lingering smell of chemicals that I can’t get rid of. Hope it is not permanent. I recommend regular saline that I used for years. Besides both work the same, ayr did not work any better."
