I've had bloodwork, all levels are fine, however, I do take a list of medications that could be stopping it from working. I'm 49 and not sure what is next. Viagra (sildenafil) "This is an absolutely fantastic medication, has vastly improved intimacy and sex with partner, self-confidence and self-esteem. I was hard enough to penetrate but would lose erection, and this, while partner was fully supportive and patient, would cause upset and tension, sex was not a pleasant experience. Now, fantastic, having fun with my partner again, have a fully hard and lasting erection. Can sometimes delay climax but not to the point of becoming a problem. Have had minor headaches and flushing but nothing major, I can find it difficult to orgasm, as I mentioned above, but again it's just being patient. "I took 20 mg of sildenafil, and it worked like a charm. There were no side effects. In fact, the pill went straight to my penis and nowhere else in my body. My partner had to go to the bathroom once, and when this kind of thing happens, my erections usually go with it. But not this time. Viagra (sildenafil) "Yes, I achieved good erections after about 40 to 50 minutes and yes, I could repeat the experience a week or two later; however, the side effects drove me away from it. Side effects: Annoyance, blue-tinted vision lasting about 2 hours. First, migraine-like headaches. No conventional medicines would relieve the pain, sensitivity to light, nausea, and lethargy. The most disturbing was difficulty swallowing for about 3-4 hours. I ended up switching to 'Levitra'. Only a mild headache and some other minor effects for 2-3 hours. Not quite as good of an erection though (80% to 90% as good)."

Viagra (sildenafil) "I'm in my early 50s and have found it difficult lately to achieve an erection. So, I started on sildenafil 25mg but this didn't work for me, so I increased the dosage to 100 mg. I found it best to take a couple of hours before going to bed. After some foreplay, I was rock hard and my wife and I had hard, vigorous sex for over an hour. "Viagra (the brand) worked just fine (100 mg). This sildenafil generic drug has all the effect of taking chalk. AM, PM, before meal, after meal, has absolutely no effect. I've considered sending it for pharmacologic testing. Absolutely worthless, and bottoms out my glucose as well, so not only may it be ineffective, it may be dangerous to diabetics."

"50 yrs old. ED started mid 40's. Tried Cialis - sometimes worked. Got this and WHAM! Took a test dose of 60 mg and did not tell my g/f because that night - I wanted to make sure it worked. 2 hours later BAM! I stopped her from making dinner and led her in the bedroom. "I am able to get 60 20 mg tablets for under $30. I typically take 60 mg (3 tablets) an hour before sex. It works best if taken on an empty stomach. I get acute nasal congestion when using this medication, which is easily treated with an over-the-counter decongestant spray. This medication has improved my sex life and my self-worth. That was great at first, but firmness tended to be not as strong at times. My doctor gave me 50 mg Viagra samples, and my wife and I could tell a big difference! It is more expensive, but you could buy the 100 mg pills and cut them into halves or even quarters. I am over 50 and have great sex with my wife at least 3 to 4 times weekly.
