Senokot (senna) "Dehydration can cause constipation. So if you're dehydrated and then take a laxative it WILL cause cramping. You got to keep in mind in order for laxatives to work it has to pull fluid from your body in order to soften your stool. That's the reason your poo is watery. Dehydration alone causes leg cramps and dizziness. So making sure you drink plenty of water before and after taking laxative. I would be highly recommended. It will help with preventing and easing bad side effects."

Senokot (senna) "Worked very well. Took 2 of the tablets at about 10pm. When I woke up, bowel movement started around 10am. I had no chills, no side effects like a few of the other reviews, no nausea. Just completely cleared me out!"

"I drank 12 oz. of a popular senna tea on two consecutive days, while drinking only clear liquids. This was preceded by two days of "full liquids". It caused diarrhea that cleaned me out, but now my tongue has big raw red patches on it. Two days later and my tongue is beginning to heal. Any ideas?"

Senokot (senna) "What I am about to write is unsolicited, not recompensed, nor asking for freebies. I am 81 years old and have been troubled by constipation and lack of a dependable laxative or medication for years. About 4 months ago I started taking Extra strength Senokot with an "oh well" attitude. Boy was I shocked and surprised! From the very start I began having boel motions the very next day that were well formed and complete. My success with Senokot gladdened an old man's heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you. So much advertising is crap (pun intended) Your product works."

"I have MS and because of MS, my bowel movement is weak. Yesterday at 9pm, I took just one Senna 8.6 mg tablet. I did sleep well, no pain no nothing and this morning my bowel movement was stronger. So far for me it works well."

Senokot (senna) "Took 1 pill at 6pm. Woke up expecting the need to go, but nothing happened. Then around 1pm I'm hit with cold sweats and bad cramping pains. Would not recommend"
