"I developed tinea versicolor as a teenager, I'm now in my early 60s. I've always used topical creams and refused pills. I began using Selsun Blue 2.5% in my 30s. I apply the medication very generously, twice daily for five days then daily for 2 days and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. I air dry my skin (except under breasts) after a shower with water as cold as tolerable and the spots disappear sometimes to up to a year."
