"Switched to Cosentyx in 2017 for plaque psoriasis. Three months later, came the ankylosing diagnosis. To date, 7/22, it has been an absolute lifesaver for me. Psoriasis 100% clear and a tremendous help with low back and hip pain. Hoping for these results to be a lifetime. 2 150 mg/ml pens a month and get on with life."

"I started Cosentyx in April of 2022 at a dose of 150mg every 4 weeks for Ankylosing Spondylitis (or Seronegative Spondylopathy). After about 4 months of no decrease in inflammation, the rheumatologist upped the dose to 300mg every 4 weeks, and at month 7 is when my flare-ups completely went away. I felt great for about 7 ish months. Fast forward to May of 2023 (now), and a flare up popped up in a matter of hours in my lower back. So it took me about 7 months for it to fully work. However, the side effects are extremely minimal and this medication is allegedely the least symptomatic in the long run compared to other TNF inhibitors. Since I had a flare up though, I will talk to the rheumatologist about doing 300mg every 3 weeks as switching these kinds of medications can take up to 6 months (or longer) to actually work. Overall, I would recommend trying it and start out immediately with the 300mg dose (x2 150mg auto injectors every 4 weeks) for arthritis related problems."

"I've finished the 5 week loading dose 3 weeks ago. It is not working for Ankylosing Spondylitis. I am very disappointed. My Dr is upping my dose to 300 mg and I hope that will work."

"I finished the loading dose with no improvement. My Dr upped me to 300 mg. I'm on month 4, I'm very fatigued and still in pain so I'm not impressed with it. I'm also experiencing mouth sores."

"Well I’ve had this drug now 16 weeks without any improvements. I had cold like symptoms with it, mainly runny nose. Very easy to use, didn't feel a thing."
