"In my case risperidone has only served as an antimaniac, it is neither antidepressant nor anxiolytic. I've only had one mania and the rest of my life depression, they gave it to me for mania and a couple more times for anxiety but it doesn't help me at all, and it makes me more anxious. Although I recognize that it is very useful for people who are more of the manic polarity, it is useless for people with a depressive polarity, where suicide is the main cause of death and therefore risperidone is useless for me."
