"It’s improved greatly my symptoms for IBS-D. I buy bulk psylium husk at bulk barn. I take a heaping teaspoon before every meal. I put the psylium right in my mouth, then put some water in my mouth and swish it a bit and swallow it. Then I take a few more drinks of water to get the rest that is in my mouth down. My poop is normally like sticky peanut butter that won't wipe, but with the psylium, it’s logs that don’t leave anything on the toilet paper."

"I have had significant flare ups with severe inflammation and obstruction this year. After only weeks of taking Metamucil each my bowel habits have changed and there is no inflammation (2 months now) and the form and size and shape of bowel movements) is somewhat normal which I have not experienced in many years. My bowel feels healthier."

"Worked for a few years for IBS-mixed in the form of a popular cereal, then began to wreak havoc upsetting my entire digestive tract from top to bottom, especially my bowels. Horrible cramping, pain and urgency with fatty, light colored and very malodorous stools. It took me a while to figure out it was the psyllium in the cereal. I would stop eating it (and anything hard to digest, in favor of easy to digest, bland foods) when I had an episode, then resume once feeling better. Did this three times before realizing what was going on. Lost a lot of sleep and productivity, and suffered big time. Feeling better each day since I tossed it out."
