For Dry Eye Disease "I love the relief I experienced with Miebo. However, the one-month supply lasted only 2 weeks. I followed the directions explicitly, and the dropper bottle expelled too much, often running across my eye and cheek. I called Miebo at Blink Pharmacy and explained this along with a follow-up complaint. I am sending back the bottle to the company as they requested. There may be a possible defect with the bottle design. A better bottle design would help, such as a larger bottle size."

For Dry Eye Disease "I began using Miebo and felt almost immediate relief. So amazed that my eyes weren’t miserable and burning and scratchy. A miracle! I told my friends how happy I was and then, within two and a half weeks, the bottle was almost empty. I find this shocking for the price. Ridiculous for a four-times-a-day drop to be in such a small bottle. I’ve seen many complaints referencing the same issue. Great medication, terrible eye dropper, and difficult ease of use."

For Dry Eye Disease "While Miebo does help my dry eye disease, the dropper is wasteful. I have been putting drops in my eyes for years, but with this product, I end up with a lot running down my face. I tried a Nanodropper, but the threads aren't compatible."

For Dry Eye Disease "Miebo drops really do work. I tried Restasis, but it was not effective. The only problem with Miebo is that the bottle is very small, and in no way can you have one bottle used 4 times a day last for a month. So, I use it with Tyrvaya, and all is well. Tryvaya morning and night, Miebo noon and dinner time. And the icing on the cake is that I got my insurance company to cover it! Would rate it a 10 if they used a larger bottle to cover the 4X daily recommendation for 1 month."

For Dry Eye Disease "I just got my prescription for Miebo, and I am excited to try it. I have been on Restasis for years; it just does not work anymore for me. I read the reviews regarding the bottle not lasting. I work in a pharmacy, and pharmacy math is a bit crazy. According to pharmacy math, there are 20 drops in an mL, so a 5 mL bottle would be 100 drops. If you're doing 1 drop in each eye four times a day, that is 8 drops a day. That means a bottle would last about 12.5 days. To make the bottle last 28 days, a person would only use 3.5 drops per day!!! Arm yourself with this knowledge. Take my word for it or Google 'how many drops per mL.' Take this info to the pharmacy and demand they do the math correctly!"

For Dry Eye Disease "I'm a 76-year-old male who was prescribed Miebo to supplement a regimen of over-the-counter eye drops due to dry eyes. The drug is almost impossible to use due to B+L's statement that the application should be a 'nano' drop, which I can't see when I try to apply it to my eye. I've had two conversations with B&L; they acknowledge that they've had multiple complaints about this, but they offer no solution. Therefore, the drug is not useful, and I cannot recommend it."

For Dry Eye Disease "I tried a 1.6 ml sample bottle provided to me by my eye doctor. I have Sjögren's. It is the first eye drop that has ever worked for me. So for that, I am amazed. But 3 ml for $748 Walmart price is crazy. In Europe, it is sold over-the-counter as EvoTears, and a 3 ml bottle is approximately $42. So there is the first indication of a problem. Second, no one, but no one can get through a month on 3 ml. It is a 5 ml consumption at best. The bottles are sized accordingly. Ask anyone that has used it, and used it carefully and conservatively, and they will tell you it does not last."

For Dry Eye Disease "Way better than anything else. Tiny drops are difficult to get in your eye and not on your nose. Bottle is very tiny. The trick: Lie down supine. Close opposite eye and hold other eyelids open or pull down on lower eyelid. Then invert bottle slowly and hold tip looking exactly at it, very close. One drop will fall in the eye. Repeat on the opposite side. Downside... very, very, very expensive!"

For Dry Eye Disease "I've got to say this is a step up in treating dry eyes. Been using it now for over 6 months. Restasis and other drops have helped, but never took that sandy feeling away until using this. However, the bottle droplet is just a horrible design. I would love to continue using this eye drop. I just received a notification that my insurance will no longer cover this after May. Finally got something that works, and the insurance company decides to drop it. The cost of this stuff is just too much without insurance. It gets a (10) for effectiveness. I give it (3) for cost and poor bottle design."

For Dry Eye Disease "I've been on this medication for almost a month. I believe it can work, why I say this, I cannot say. Honestly, that it's working according to the four drops per day. The dropper is not the best, and the bottle is not the best. Since this is the case, much of this medicine is down my face. That being the case, a refill is necessary, causing extra expense. Not good with medications increasing in cost."

For Dry Eye Disease "I have been using Miebo for dry eye disease for 2 months. This drug is a game changer for me. I was on Restasis for 10 years and still had dry eyes. I tried every new drop that came on the market but still had dry eyes. I used warm compresses and Omega-3s and still had dry eyes. My cornea specialist said I have hardly any oil in my glands and although I had tears they dried up in 2 seconds. When I saw Miebo was approved, I was excited to try it. The price was offensive and without insurance covering it, I was not able to get it. After checking my insurance formulary list for about 6 months, it was finally covered. I won't be without it. It has helped so much I don't even think about dry eyes except when it's time for my drops. Only con I can see is it is oily and may make your eye makeup run, which is not a big deal. I highly recommend it."

For Dry Eye Disease "Good product, but no way does that tiny bottle hold 30 days of solution. I can only get 15 days unless I only use it twice a day instead of 4 as is recommended, and I use it exactly as it tells you in the directions."

For Dry Eye Disease "I’ve been using Miebo for 5 months. It has been a huge plus for my vision. I use it in conjunction with Xiidra. My vision was poor due to dry eye disease. Although Xiidra is helpful, the addition of Miebo has been excellent. I now have clear vision about 80% of the time. With Xiidra alone, my vision was clear about 50% of the time. While I’ve never seen this mentioned, I believe Miebo may accumulate over time, requiring a break for a day or so. The cost of these two meds is pretty high. I’m glad I can afford them. When competition allows a generic, this will be a lifesaver. I’d rate this 9/10 if it weren’t for the cost."

For Dry Eye Disease "I have been using Miebo eye drops for a month. From the very first dose, I can only describe this drug as a miracle for my particular type of dry eye disease: meibomian gland dysfunction. The drops replace the missing natural oils that lubricate the eye surface. The design of the bottle could be better. Expelling the drops takes some skill as the drops are very tiny, you don't feel them going in, and you don't want to waste any, given the high out-of-pocket cost after insurance. I apply a drop to each eye, 3-4 times per day. The doctor says it's safe to use as frequently as needed. Side effect: minimal temporary blurriness. Immediate eye comfort. Gradual improvement in visual acuity. Worth every penny!"

For Dry Eye Disease "Works for me - much better than Restasis, Cequa, Xiidra, and Tryvava. I would have rated it 10/10 if there was enough solution in each bottle to last an entire month, which there isn’t. I use it only 3 times per day, but still runs out before the end of the month. It costs more than $700 per bottle without insurance."

For Dry Eye Disease "Eyes feel less dry for approx 3-4 hrs after each dose of 1 drop in each eye. One bottle lasts me 3 weeks using Miebo 3x a day. I don't know if that's normal, but it does make it cost more monthly or interrupt treatment if you can't obtain an early refill. Bausch and Lomb could improve the delivery system so drops aren't wasted. To me, it's expensive symptom relief, not curative for MGD."

For Dry Eye Disease "I wanted to edit my previous review but unfortunately you can't. I was also skeptical as to whether the teeny bottle with 4 drops a day each eye would last a month, and it does. Absolutely lasted 30 days. The drops are micro drops. They are not big drops like other eye drops. My bottle lasted 33 days before I ran out. Just go slow and easy so you don't waste them."

For Dry Eye Disease "I'm not totally sure about the product. I feel it works somewhat. What the problem is the dropper, which is horrible. Some drops run down my face, no matter how softly I press on the bottle. Who knows what I'm receiving in my eyes? Change the dropper, pls."

For Dry Eye Disease "There is no way that a user can dispense the drops as prescribed - 4 drops a day for 30 days. I am on my 4th bottle, and I get no more than 14/15 days. I called twice to complain to the manufacturer Bausch & Lomb but was told the bottle dispenses 90 drops per millimeter. I told them it’s not humanly possible to get a month’s supply out of the 3 ml per bottle. They need to either up the bottle quantity or come up with a new dispenser. I cannot tell how effective Miebo is as I have never been able to complete the monthly regimen."

For Dry Eye Disease "I have been using Miebo eye drops for one month. They do seem to be helping with the irritation caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. The drops feel like they are a bit oily and it feels good on the eyeball. It's a tiny bottle and a tiny drop that goes into the eye. The key to not waste the drop by missing the eye is to follow the directions on the leaflet by squeezing the bottle, turning it upside down, and releasing the air. You barely need to squeeze the bottle then (if at all) for a small drop to drop in your eye. If you squeeze too hard, you will get more than one drop. I just take my time and let gravity do the work. I still need to use my OTC eye drops for dry eye. Miebo is very expensive, but if you go to the Miebo website, there is a savings and support link, and with my insurance and their savings program, my drops cost $60 a month, and the first month was free. Try that!"

For Dry Eye Disease "Miebo works for dry eye disease. The applicator design is a real problem. I am a licensed RN and have been using eye drops personally for years. I know what I am doing. It is almost impossible to get a drop directly into the eye. Every lost drop is a lost dose, and this drug is the most expensive of anything I am taking. Four applications per day and at least two lost drops."

For Dry Eye Disease "Like others, I've found great relief while using Miebo. It's very expensive, though, and I consider myself lucky to be able to get it at a discount of $76 a month. However, the tiny bottle does not last a month, and I have to wait several days before I'm eligible to order more. I've been using eye drops for over 10 years and never had a problem getting drops in my eyes, but this dropper needs rework. Plus, the tiny bottle doesn't contain enough medicine. I run out after 3 weeks. C'mon now, Miebo! You can do better! When I have enough drops, my eyes feel wonderful! No more gritty, itchy feeling in my eyes, and I can even go without warm compresses (until I run out)."

For Dry Eye Disease "While I believe the drops are of some help, I'm very unhappy about the amount that is actually going into my eye. Sometimes too much, sometimes not enough. The problem is the bottle, even following directions, you cannot control how the drops come out, no matter how softly you squeeze the bottle. So much is wasteful as it runs down your face. Also, it could become very expensive."

For Dry Eye Disease "I have very dry eyes. I tried Xidra, which I could not use due to pain and burning of eyes. I was switched to Restasis, which was better, but my eyes were still bad. My eye doctor then added Miebo to my treatment. Between Restasis and Miebo, my eyes feel great. The only problem with Miebo is it does not last a full month. I even tried having someone else put the drops in for me, and it still did not last a month. Definitely needs to have more in a bottle to be able to put one drop in each eye four times a day. With Miebo, I have no pain or burning when the drop hits my eye."

For Dry Eye Disease "I love Miebo! I have chronic dry eyes, and it's the only thing that works for me. I wish I could get a bottle to last an entire month. The pharmacy and the manufacturer both state that it should. I'm extremely careful with the drops, but it still only lasts about three weeks. I'm just curious if anyone else has the same issue."
