"I have both age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and Fuchs dystrophy. Soothe XP, initially provided to me by my ophthalmologist as a sample for trial, has given me significant relief of dry eye discomfort. I have had no side effects whatsoever."

"The first time I used it, it created a film over both my eyes that left in seconds. My eyes felt better in minutes. It pays to buy the better brand when dealing with your eyes. We shall see down the road, but for now I feel satisfied."

"Bausch & Lomb Soothe XP Emollient Eye Drops. This product was recommended for dry eyes for 7-10 days. The first use at bedtime, eyes blurry for 5-10 minutes. Felt greasy & vision foggy. The product does say 'temporary blurred vision upon application.' The 'temporarily blurred vision' did not dissipate after each use. 5-7 days of use. I contacted Bausch & Lomb. The pharmacy rep stated mineral oils may be excessive for me. Told they would recall my bottle and refund only with a receipt. They offered $12.00. I paid $14.99 at CVS plus tax. Found the receipt showing $14.99 provided to them for reimbursement. CVS applied my extra bucks rewards for the prescription filled to each item, not the total cost of purchase. Bausch & Lomb called CVS and decided they would only refund me $6.71! Not worth a zero (0) rating for me. Mineral oil was not effective or beneficial for my use! I will never buy a product from Bausch & Lomb, their customer service is horrible!"

"I have used it for years and have no problems. My ophthalmologist said I need to use it more than 2 times a day now. I have used both the preservative-free and the regular, as sometimes the regular 'burns' a little. This is a very temporary sensation. The 'oily' film that comes with the product use is gone after about 2-3 blinks. I will start using more as I need the lubrication more and more as I age, and I live in a dry environment."
