For Smoking Cessation "I am using the patch, and so far, it has really helped me with not smoking. There are days I really want to smoke, and I might smoke one, but smoking just one helps me get through another two weeks without a smoke. I think this product has really helped me."

For Smoking Cessation "Quit smoking for almost 6 years, and one day out of nowhere, and for no reason, I was CRAVING a cigarette, and it wasn't long until I was back up to a pack a day. :( Every pack I bought, every cigarette I smoked made me feel so gross, yet my mind kept telling me I needed it. Opted to try the patch, free with my health insurance. Just finished my first day, and it was pretty smooth, stressful at work, and hung out with a coworker on lunch while she smoked, and I was almost gagging! Icky, icky, icky! But not once did I want to smoke! I'm confident it is working. It's the CVS brand, and it sticks pretty well. Took it off to shower and popped it right back on. After reading reviews and going through the information insert, I'm worried about sleeping and having weird dreams, lol. Hopefully, it won't be too bad, small price to pay as opposed to continuing to smoke. I do have moments where I go into autopilot and I reach for a pack that isn't there, and I think, 'oh yeah, I don't smoke,' and I just go back to what I was doing. Last time I quit, I went through a few weeks of really bad anxiety, and I haven't had any episodes or any feelings of anxiety. Just waiting for time to pass. :) Will be on step 1 for 6 weeks and down to step 2 for 4 weeks, and step 3 for 1 week I think. Tomorrow I need to spray my car down 'cause the smell makes me sick to my stomach! Excited to smell good again!"

For Smoking Cessation "All I can say is wow. Like, I put the patch on, and it worked, and it worked immediately. The first patch, 21 mg, I promise you I didn't smoke not one cigarette. It's only been a day, but I know it's working because people have smoked cigarettes in front of me, and I didn't even care for it. Thank you, 'cause every time I light a cigarette, my son would say word for word what the commercials say about smoking. I really wanted to stop, and this patch really helped."

For Smoking Cessation "I smoked for 10 years, a pack a day, and didn’t think that I could quit. I used patches, Step 1, for only 9 days. On the 10th and 11th day, I had side effects (such as dizziness), so I didn’t use them for 2 days. I was thinking of buying Step 2, but I realized that I don’t need it anymore. I haven’t smoked for more than 1 year. Recommend it 100%!!!"

For Smoking Cessation "I have smoked for 36 years and am a 49-year-old man. My first attempt with the patch worked well for the first 2 weeks, but then I went back to smoking. This time, I have also joined the YMCA and feel the exercise (sweating it out) is helping much more. I have also noticed some blurred vision and waking with a terribly dry mouth in the middle of the night. So far, I really don't have any craving for a cigarette. When I do, I chew some gum or change my habitual patterns. Great product, I feel."

For Smoking Cessation "I tried to quit smoking several times, but it never worked. The withdrawal symptoms were just too much to deal with. I decided to try Nicoderm. It's already been a week since I smoked my last cigarette. Nicoderm has made it possible for me to live without smoking. The cravings were much less frequent, and the side effects of nicotine withdrawal were not as important. I signed up for a gym 2 months before I quit. I lift weights and do cardio 5 days a week, 1 hour per day. Exercise helped to quit by reducing my stress. It also prevents you from gaining unwanted pounds."

For Smoking Cessation "The Nicoderm CQ patch, in my opinion, worked great. I've been smoking for over 19 years. I've tried before (cold turkey) & (pregnancy), but always went back. I smoked up to 1.5 packs a day. I made the most life-changing choice in Dec 2016 to stop smoking. I researched the patches and was very leery because of my withdrawal symptoms. I decided to try Nicoderm CQ patches. I completed the whole 3-step, 10-week program without 1 slip!!! I'm very proud of myself. Now, be aware that you will experience a slight burning, itching sensation when you first apply the patch (lasts about 1 min). Also, sometimes the patch will not stay on, just simply apply a Band-Aid over it. That's about it. I would recommend this product. Works GREAT!!"

For Smoking Cessation "I will say this about the patch. It worked for me. Were there side effects? Yes. A small bit of bruising and a small rash. I was willing to put up with those side effects because I did not have one craving for a cigarette. I was very happy with the program and have remained smoke-free for three years, Boxing Day passed."

For Smoking Cessation "Have been on the patches step 1 for a week today. I smoked almost 2 packs a day for 31 years. Tried to quit many times. This is by far the best and easiest way. Sometimes they don't stick, but I use a band-aid over it to make them stick. The bad cravings are gone, it's just the habit left. So glad I tried the patches!!!"

For Smoking Cessation "I smoked for a long time and tried quitting so many times, but really did not have much luck on my own. I could tell some tales about trying to quit. My husband bought the patch for me to try, and I was really impressed by the fact that I really did not feel the need to smoke a cigarette. That went on for about 17 days. I then noticed that my eyes were very red all day, so much so that I could see the small vessels in my eyes distended. Then one evening, where I put the patch on my upper thigh (was running out of available spots), I began itching more than usual. When the patch was removed, the spot was swollen and very red, and it stung and was painful. My doctor has stopped me from any further use and diagnosed that I may be allergic to the adhesive."

For Smoking Cessation "I smoked since I was 15, I’m 40 today. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with asthma and was told to stop smoking. Three years of sickness and pain. So many sick days. I thought of my funeral, I thought of the ones I would leave to mourn. How could I break their hearts? How could I remain so selfish? I tried Nicoderm Step 1, but it gave me migraines, and I almost gave up. I tried Step 2, and it worked better for me. It’s not easy. You will need willpower and let everyone know that is around you that it will affect your mood and to just not pay it too much mind. After four weeks of Step 2, I was okay and decided to begin Step 3. Again, willpower! The cravings never go away, but they do get weaker. Eleven days ago, I forgot to put a new patch on, and I had five days left of Step 3. I decided to just let go. It's willpower and keeping busy. I joined a gym and am also down 15 lbs."

For Smoking Cessation "I used the Nicoderm patch, and it helped a lot. I smoked and used hookah pens for over 10 years and wanted to quit because of my health. I was smoke-free for 1 year, then I had a major emotional breakdown and went back to smoking. Now I'm on the patch again, and it's been a week, and I have no cravings for cigarettes or hookahs, unless I'm driving or after eating, but it quickly passes over. I most definitely will recommend the patches!!!"

For Smoking Cessation "Patches are really useful. I had tried quitting several times, but it never worked. There wasn't a single day without smoke in my last 8 years. But it has been 4 days since I've been on the patches now, and I haven't even had a single cigarette. I'm sure I won't smoke again. But I experienced a side effect, it causes joint pains. My left elbow starts paining if I put it on my left arm, and the same goes for the right. But it's a very low price to pay to quit."

For Smoking Cessation "Love the product. The only problem is it does not stick if I put it on an area that flexes a lot, like my side or upper arm. Sticks fine to shoulder blades, no falling off, and the itching subsides after about 20-30 mins."

For Smoking Cessation "I am 45 years old now, and I was able to quit after 27 years with the help of the Nicoderm CQ patch. It was a struggle, but the patches did enough to keep me from finding a cigarette. I am now smoke-free for 2 years and enjoy not smelling like a dirty ashtray and can breathe much easier. Thanks for your product, Nicoderm CQ."

For Smoking Cessation "I am using these to quit vaping. I cannot believe how effective they are! I barely even think about vaping. I smoked heavily for 10 years and vaped heavily for 5 years. I still have that muscle memory of wanting to pick up my mod and it not being there, or getting ready to leave the house and not having to grab it. Those things you can't help, but I have almost zero cravings. When I do, it's because of triggers like after eating and when driving, and it passes quickly. I tried the gum, and for me, it didn't work at all, like not even a little bit. I would recommend Nicoderm to anyone who's ready to quit!"

For Smoking Cessation "I have been using step one of the patch for 4 weeks. Out of both boxes, I have lost 3 patches that didn't stay in place after placement. I followed the instructions, however, they still came off. These are not cheap, and being on a fixed income frustrates me, especially when you cannot inform the very company that produces the product. Other than that, they have been effective."

For Smoking Cessation "I'm 22, and have been smoking for about 4 years. This year, my smoking increased to about half a pack a day for a few months. I knew I was smoking too much. I was having trouble catching my breath and couldn't work out. I knew it was time to quit. I've tried vaping and e-cigarettes, nothing worked, but I needed my nicotine fix or else I would get anxious. One day I woke up and decided to go to the store and get the patch. I started with step 2. I have no regrets. I've been cigarette-free for 7 days, and I can't see myself going back."

For Smoking Cessation "I have smoked for about 11 years. Quit cold turkey with each of my 3 pregnancies and had no issue. For some reason, about 3-4 weeks after giving birth, I was back to a pack a day. I tried the gum but didn't have success. It doesn't last in my system long enough, and when a craving struck, I couldn't pick up the gum, I picked up the car keys to get to the nearest gas station for a pack of smokes! So I decided to try the patch since it is a continuous stream of nicotine. I thought maybe this would work better. I have zero physical symptoms. I still get that 'oh, I need a smoke now' feeling but am better able to say no to it. I honestly didn't think it would work, but it does! And the itching is unbearable! But only lasted about an hour for me."

For Smoking Cessation "My experience is with the patches staying on. I put them on exactly as written, but they fall off by the middle of the day. They don't stick very well. I make sure the skin is dry. I have been told by friends to get the generic band, they stay on better. Looks like I am going to have to try those. You would think as much as you have to pay for these, they would stick to your skin better and stay on."

For Smoking Cessation "This works well only when the patch stays on. I found the clear patches don't stay on like the tan ones do. I'm having a hard time finding the tan ones anymore, did they discontinue them? The clear patches continually fall off. The adhesion is not near as good. I had to switch brands to Life brand because they have the tan ones, and the adhesion is great."

"I have smoked since I was 14 years old and am now 73. Wasn't much at first, but as the years went by, it got a lot worse. In fact, I would have to say at least two packs a day. I always wanted to quit, but never thought I could do it after smoking so long and so much. Then, on 5-31-09, I was taken to the emergency room because I couldn't catch my breath. I stayed there for 4 days. They put the 'patch' on me in there and sent me home with an oxygen tank. Now I know I have to quit. I now have COPD. Anyway, I made up my mind right then and there I was going to stay on the Nicoderm patch. I'm now on my 'step #3' 7 mg's and I only have 4 patches left."

For Smoking Cessation "Proper and consistent adhesion needs to become a priority. 25-minute ordeal of wiping, drying, using an alcohol swab, applying patch(es), cutting fabric tape not even sold in pharmacies (given by a friend a long time ago). Now running low on said tape, applying tape, noticing throughout the day that sections of the patch are no longer touching the skin. Dreams at night seem real and last a long time. Not well rested the next day even after a long sleep."

For Smoking Cessation "So I have smoked for about, I'd say, 22 years out of my 35 years. In the first 5 years, I probably would only have a couple to a few cigarettes a day, and then for the last 10 years, I smoked about half a pack to a pack a day. I have terrible oral fixation problems and other compulsive oral habits. I decided to try the patch to stop this. I have tried vaping in the past, I've tried the gum. Neither of these substitutes are good for me. The day I put on the patch, I had no hope of it actually working, but I was at the end of a pack, and by the end of that day, I had my son throw away all but one in the pack, and I smoked that last cigarette and knew that I didn't need them anymore. Life had been stressful, and I had been sick. I never thought I could quit when I was feeling like this. But it's honestly been the best thing for my confidence and improvement of my life right now. It's been 11 days, and I can't even believe it. I plan on doing step one for four weeks, then step two and step three for 2 weeks each. Thanks, Nicoderm CQ!"

For Smoking Cessation "Only complaint I have is that it falls off constantly. I always put on medical tape with it, and it still falls off. Still working for me, but it's honestly irritating when it falls off all the time. I would have expected something that is supposed to stick on not to peel off all the time. Would be better if it just stuck on the whole day!"
