"I have been taking this medicine since it's been out on the market, I remember my doctor telling me it was new and give it a try. I felt like that is when all the cog works of my brain started working in conjunction with one another. I could see life as it really was. It actually gives me headaches, but after trying about 20 diff medicines, this works. I take it with Topamax and Wellbutrin. 20 years on a medicine isn't bad."

"Was forced to withdraw from Nefazodone after 20 years+ due to the continuing shortage. 400 mg/day. Was switched to Trazadone which was effective in arresting the Nefazodone discontinuation syndrome."

"I cannot run out of my Nefazodone!! Been on it since 2010 !!! My Neurologist said I could not handle the withdrawal symptoms !!! It will literally be the end of me if I run out!! CVS cannot find it and I am about out!!! Please keep making it or if I run out my family will SUE you !!!!!! Take that to heart!"

"Nefazodone is again available. It has helped with my depression and really has done wonders on my anxiety. I am so grateful to be able to get this medication again. There is a facebook supports group "Nefazodone Shortage Survivors and Support". There is a wealth of information and other patients offering support and experiences with this medication. People are helping each other find pharmacies that are able to order it as it is still being distributed."

"I am devastated that I can no longer get nefozadone. Been taking it 20 plus years and it has worked great. New Dr prescribed Mirtazapine and in the first 3 weeks I have have already gained 5 pounds. Anyone have good luck with something else that doesn't cause weight gain?"

"I had high hopes for this med based on reviews and pharmacological profile, however I was unable to get through the initiation period. It felt as if I was very intoxicated with a bad hangover at the same time; dizziness, blurred vision, unsteady gait with stumbling and falling, horrible stomach cramping and dry heaving with a migraine. I started at 100mg at bedtime, and as the days went on, the side effects progressed. I also felt more depressed, but who wouldn't being unable to function. I wish it had worked out better. Everyone is different. My advise would be, if you experience side effects of the nature I did, I would discontinue and save yourself from dealing with them being much worse. Otherwise, give it a try!"

"I have been on Serzone/Nefazodone for over 20 years. I was diagnosed with generalized social anxiety likely stemming from trauma experienced from being bullied as a gay youth. I would shy away from social situations as I'd experience panic attacks that would lead to profuse sweating and the need to "fight or flight". Nefazodone has given me quality of life and a fully life where I have can participate in all social activities that has given me great confidence and true friendships. In the Summer of 2020 Nefazodone was discontinued by Teva (the only manufacturer). As I tapered off the panic attacks came back, even after years of soul work and health living for the mind and body. I was so happy to learn that as of December 2021 Teva is again making Nefazodone! I have tried other medications (e.g. Zoloft) and nothing works like Nefazodone. Thank you Teva for listening to your customers and working had to bring Nefazodone to the market. I have great blood tests/no side effects :)"

"I tried multiple SSRIs for my clinical diagnosis of Major Depression over several years. Most of the popular SSRIs resulted in Erectile Dysfunction, which was maddening. Once I ramped up on the maximum 600MG dosage of Nefazodone over several months...I started feeling much better in terms of mood. The additional prescription of Lithium Carbonate augmented the Nefazodone after only three days of taking it: For me, it was an amazing combination."

"This is the only antidepressant that has ever worked for my depression and anxiety. I have been on it for years and have stumbled through the last year without it. I was so excited to see that it's going to be back this year. Spoke to a rep at Teva who said it should be back on the market by the end of the year, it can't come fast enough! It is literally the only antidepressant that has help me since getting off my last antidepressant in 1996."

"Please contact FDA complaint line and FDA Freedom of Information Act Teva was in big financial trouble in 2019, they may break even in 2021 at our expense. PLEASE MAKE YOU VOICE HEAD. "I suffered from severe depression for several years. Doctors gave me Prozac, Effexor, and other drugs, but they made me immediately worse. I was afraid to try anything else, but my doctor convinced me to try Nefazodone. I took 150 mg twice a day, and started to feel better in just a few weeks. I had to have blood work done twice a year to test for liver problems, but I had absolutely no side effects, and started feeling like myself again. I’ve taken it for 23 years now, and I’ve been stable. When it stopped being made, I broke my remaining pills in half and weaned myself down to the lower dose. I’ve been struggling. I tried Trazodone, but had terrible side effects. Teva just informed me that it is manufacturing Nefazodone again, and is just waiting for FDA approval to distribute it. I am immensely relieved!"

"Had been on this medicine for over 20 years as a Bipolar manic depressive, I've tried lots before that felt like a guinea pig. But we're people and this medicine saved my life. It's been a rough go now for about 2 years I'm on vibryd 40 mg and it doesn't even come close. Most of the doctors have said that it'll be back the first quarter of 2022 I pray for it I pray for all of us that use it because I know that it works. We're people not guinea pigs or something that you can just throw out into the street. I had a wonderful marriage now it's almost in shambles because there is no nefazone! I'm tired of the manic spells and I'm tired of the sleeping all the time we just need this drug back desperately somebody please listen and get it back on the market immediately"

"After taking this for 3 months, I decided to stop taking it due to unusual violent behavior. It helped with my depression, but was not worth the violent behavior I was exhibiting. I will be going back on Cymbalta."

"It is back on the market and available. My first night back on it was a very restless night. I remember sleeping better during the 20 years I took it. I'm going to wait a couple days and then try again."

"I am another "long hauler" on Nefazadone, (25+years) after settling on the proper dosage, and figured I'd be on it for life. My pharmacist titrated me down on that and titrated me up on sertraline. After a few rocky weeks I can say that the sertraline is doing its job with depression, but has lowered my sex drive to zero. Thanks, Teva , for taking away one of life's pleasures!"

"Nefazodone is back in production. Got the email December 22, 2021, from TEVA pharmaceuticals. I have learned from the 11 months I haven’t been able to get it that it very effectively treated my severe PTSD, which caused MDD, major sleep disorder, and recently I have been getting night terrors. I had been on it for 26 years and have always had liver enzymes checked every 6 months. Never a problem for me."

"I had some success with nefazadone for anxiety and depression but it has caused liver problems. My liver panels are huge and I have experienced jaundice after having a healthy liver all my life."

"nefazodone works better than most antidepressants (or possibly all antidepressants) that I have tried. It also helps advance my sleep phase (I have an intrinsic Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorder called Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder with overlapping Non 24 Hour Sleep Wake Disorder). Nefazodone and melatonin are both absolutely essential to manage my CRSD. (And, unlike most of the drugs that affect serotonin, Nefazodone doesn't seem to decrease sexual sensation or lower sex drive)."
