Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "Treximet works for me, and nothing else has! The only weird side effect I get is sensitive skin...like if I take a shower or bath after taking Treximet, the water just burns my skin. Or even if I wash my hands with hot water. But it is a very small price to pay to get rid of the migraines. Very reliable!"

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I started getting migraines when I was 20 years old, and now I'm 23 and get 6 a month. I tried numerous medications such as Fioricet, Maxalt, Topamax, etc. When my doctor prescribed me Treximet, I assumed it wouldn't work like all the others I tried. I got a horrible migraine and took a Treximet and was relieved about 30 minutes later. I was so happy I started crying. I never thought I would find something to work, and it was such a relief to know I won't have to suffer my whole life anymore."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I was given samples by my gynecologist to treat menstrual migraines. My gynecologist told me that my migraines are the worst she's ever seen. Treximet is the best migraine treatment I have ever taken. Within 20 minutes (and only one pill), my headache is completely gone and it will not reoccur. I can continue doing whatever I was doing before the migraine kicked in. The only reason I didn't assign it a 10 was because I tend to get excessively thirsty along with a dry mouth, but nothing compared to those horrible migraines. Completely worth it."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I get ongoing migraines about 1 to 2 times a week due to inflammation caused by a disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis, which attacks the joints and causes spinal fusion. This medication is incredible. Yes, it's expensive without insurance, but I have even started breaking the pills in half and my migraines are still wiped out in 20 minutes. Thank you to the creators of Treximet for saving my life."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "Just wow. I frequently suffer from migraines, and Excedrin usually does the trick. Every so often, I'll get these headaches that last for days, and Excedrin won't work. My doctor prescribed me Treximet, and what a difference. I like this drug because if you don't take it at the beginning of a migraine, it STILL works. I had a migraine for 24 hours+, and took one this morning. Within 30 min, it was fading, and in an hour, it was gone. The first time I took Treximet, I did have neck stiffness and fatigue, but the second time, no side effects except a dry mouth and a heavy feeling in my legs that passed quickly. So worth not having to deal with a headache that can really ruin your whole day and just make you want to lie in a cool, dark room. Love Treximet."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "Best migraine pill I have ever taken, and I have tried them all. The headaches are debilitating, and this medication is worth every penny. The rating is for effectiveness, and I would rate higher if I could. It's a life saver. No migraine hangover, works quickly, and no relapse. Amazing."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "This medicine does get rid of my migraines, but I have to deal with feeling worse before I feel better. There also are times when it takes 2-3 hours to kick in, though the usual is about an hour. For me, that's a very long time when you have a migraine getting worse."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I get stress migraines. I take a Treximet, and within an hour or two, my headache is gone. When I first started taking it, I would feel the 'elephant on my chest' feeling, similar to the Imitrex. But after the first few times, I don't get that feeling anymore. What I really like about it is if I take one at bedtime, not only does it cure my migraine, but I sleep so well and I wake up feeling so relaxed. All my muscles in my neck, shoulders, and back that were tight and stressed are released from the tension."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "This is the only migraine treatment that has ever had any effect for me. I've tried everything that is for migraines. The doctors even gave me anti-depressants to see if that would help and blood pressure pills even though I already have low blood pressure. They even tried giving me a strong dosage of muscle relaxers. Nothing at all helped my migraines until Treximet. This is the best medication out there for migraines."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "It never fails that I get a migraine each month about 1-4 days before my period starts. About that same time, I get terrible back pain from the way my body changes. They started hitting monthly when I turned 36. Yay aging! About 8 months ago, I got a sudden migraine that was so bad I had to run out of an executive meeting and barely made it to the girls' room, hand cupped over my mouth. It was embarrassing as I had just started this new job. I decided to see my GP. She put me on Treximet. They are $20 a pill, but with my insurance, I got 30 pills for $60 - yeah! I take one whenever I feel a migraine coming on. They work best at night for me. If I take it in the day, I feel flu-like and sweaty. But they work!"

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "This pill works perfectly. I've tried OTC meds, sumatriptan shots, etc. This medicine works. The only thing is, if I take a full dose (500 mg), I feel weird, slight tightening in my neck for the first hour. I don't even care, it's worth it to get rid of these headaches, which I get 4 to 5 times per month. I'd drive 100 miles to get them if I had to. Just hope they don't find out this is slowly killing people someday."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "Can't believe how well this worked. I've become so scared when a migraine comes on that I almost didn't try this new drug, but am I glad I did. A little achy around the neck area and felt a small amount of heaviness in the chest area, but those symptoms went away quickly. The amazing part is that the headache didn't come when I took it as soon as the aura came. Will be asking for a script for this one."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I have been dealing with migraines for 20 years. Tightness in my neck, and head along with sensitivity to light. I always just dealt with them and took excedrin, aleve, Tylenol, motrin, just to name a few, and nothing really worked. I ended up finally going to a neurologist who happened to suffer from the same migraines that I have. He prescribed treximet along with amitriptilyne daily and my life has changed forever since that day. It WORKS! Once I feel a migraine coming on I take it and it is gone in 20 minutes. When I would get migraines before they would last for up to 4 days."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "They should market this like Raid. Treximet: it kills migraines dead. 15-20 minutes later, I feel human again, and 30-45 minutes later, I wonder why I didn't take it sooner. The only bad thing I have to say is, it's expensive."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I get probably 2 migraines a year, but when I do, they are debilitating. I took Treximet within 2 minutes of my aura starting. 20 minutes later, the aura was gone, and all that remained of the migraine's onslaught was a very dull heaviness in my head and some flushness. I would highly recommend this medicine. Ask your doctor for samples - that's how I got mine."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I have migraines often, and at times I have had to leave work due to the pain and nausea. My doctor gave me Treximet to try. I was amazed. My migraine eased or completely went away 45 minutes to 1 hour after I took it and did not make me feel 'hung over,' drowsy, or have any other side effects. This medication is my miracle migraine medication."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I have to say I really love this medication. I have migraines 4 to 6 times a month. I try not to take it all the time due to having hot and cold flashes. The first time I took it, my head felt like I put something icy and hot on my brain. It's now going on a year and I still get hot and cold flashes, but the side effects are worth it. I can work with being hot and cold. With my migraines, I just want to lay in a ball and cry, but know I can't because it will make it worse. This pill is a lot of money. I just wish it would come down in price."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "Knocked out my headache very quickly. I did have a few side effects such as a stiff neck, overall queasiness, and heartburn. The side effects didn't last more than an hour or so, but the headache was gone and I was happy. As with any medication, I will try and 'ride out' the headache to avoid taking medication, but I will keep this one around."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I get horrible menstrual migraines. I've tried medicines in the past. Some didn't work, some worked but gave me a rebound headache. Then I started trying natural remedies. Some help, but nothing has gotten rid of my migraines. I decided to give another medicine a try because I expected a migraine to come on a day I had an important event. My doctor gave me a sample of Treximet. My migraine started coming on DURING the event. I took one pill, and within 20 minutes, I could feel the pain lessen. I'd say within an hour it was completely gone. It's now been 2 days, and I have not gotten a rebound headache. I also don't remember much of a side effect. I felt a little out of sorts for a bit, but that went away fairly quickly."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "This is the only medication that has worked for me. I have taken it on three occasions, and it has gotten rid of my headache within 40 minutes. It's amazing. The only side effect I've had is a slight feeling of heartburn."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "With Treximet, I found relief was within an hour, and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour, it was gone. In the past, my severe migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my pharmacist for telling me about the drug. I had to ask my doctor about it, and then she gave me a sample. I only wish the pill wasn't so big."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I have suffered from migraines for over 30 years and tried so many different medicines. Treximet is the ONLY medicine I have found that I can trust to actually get rid of my headache. It is completely gone within 2 hours - but I can feel it going away within 30 minutes. I have my life back because I know it works. Took some getting used to - it made my neck feel warm and very tired, but the trade-off of being free from a debilitating headache is so worth it. I find that if I keep busy after it starts working, I don't get as tired as if I just sit down with it (then I will want to sleep and this lasts for several hours). Downside? Getting 9 in a prescription is irritating - makes me have to decide if my headache is 'Treximet-worthy.'"

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I had a choice of going to the ER or taking the pill. I took the pill, and 30 minutes later, the pain was gone. Then came the side effects: weak, pressure in the shoulders, speech and memory were difficult, and little pressure in the chest. All were gone in less than an hour. I was so happy with the results. Living without migraines is priceless to me."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "Killed the migraine within 30 minutes, but sent me to the ER with chest pains, shortness of breath, dizziness, confusion, etc. I experience every 'possible' side effect listed. Don't be afraid to take the medicine, but don't be afraid to go to the ER if you experience the side effects."

Treximet (naproxen / sumatriptan) "I've been dealing with migraines since I was like 10 or 11. Any chemical/hormone change triggers them. I'm 31, and they gradually got to the point they would last for 3-4 days. During that time (and a few days after it was gone), I had uncontrollable vomiting. I couldn't work, and worst of all, I couldn't take care of my kids. I finally went to the doctor and asked him to please fix me because no doctor could ever find something that worked. I feel like Treximet has given me my life back. Within 30 min - 2 hours (depending on how strong the migraine is when it hits), I start to feel it working. Usually by hour 3, I no longer have the migraine. I can't even describe what a relief it is to finally be free and able to focus on life."
