Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I couldn't tolerate these vitamins any longer than a few days! They smelled horrible and I began noticing that I tasted this smell in my mouth and my skin also smelled just like the vitamins!! It was unbearable along with nausea, and stomach upsets pain etc! These were not for me!! I'm not sure what this overpowering smell is but I just can't handle it!"

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I started taking these almost 2 years ago. At first, I didn't notice much. After a few months of taking them, I started noticing daily SOB, bloating, vertigo, severe headaches 3-4 times a week (around the same time each day). I talked to my Dr about these symptoms, I got no answers other than I may have indigestion. I am relatively healthy, exercise each day, and eat healthy etc. For me to be having these issues is a bit unusual. I started looking into my diet more, my environment, and my daily activities. I could not come up with anything other than these vitamins. After coming on here and reading the other comments I stopped taking them immediately. It's been (8) weeks and I have not had a single issue. I am so happy that I figured this out. No, I do not take any other medications so there was no reaction to address. And yes, I drink plenty of water (that is ALL I drink). I also took these with each meal. STAY AWAY FROM THESE! THEY SHOULD BE PULLED OFF THE SHELVES."

Lipoflavonoid (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I tried the Lipo Flavonoid Plus for tinnitus for the first time took 2 caplets in the morning after eating. The ringing was low before taking it and within the hour after the ringing went louder than ever and I could feel my blood pressure going up then got a headache. I have hypertension. I don’t think I’ll take anymore."

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "Have been taking this brand and other similar brands to combat my thinning hair loss and nail issues. It seems each time I go back to taking these ( usually gummy version) my hair and nails seem WORSE? It seems I matter what brand I try it is always the same! SO DONE! No more! I’d rather have what I had before than take these supposed hair/nail “vitamins” and GET WORSE RESULTS! Be careful ladies! Do not waste your $ like I did!"

Super B Complex (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I only take this supplement intermittently, such as for times when I feel my energy level, immunity and/or hormonal states are not sufficient. It helps with my sporadic acne issue as well. I love it. I feel lifted from my fatigue slump and I am able to concentrate so much better."

Been consistent for a few days now and have started noticing tightness and swelling of my throat, as well as a severe headache. Symptoms have gotten progressively worse, and then I remembered this vitamin I had been taking. These are going in the trash and I will not recommend to anyone."

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I took these gummy vitamins for two days and developed a bald spot at the top of my head. I wouldn’t recommend taking these pills the side effects are completely the opposite of what you want when looking for healthy hair and nails. They also cause bad stomach cramps and Im not on any medication so IDK what is up with these vitamins."

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I started taking the Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails pills, followed the directions (3 pills per day) and have broken out in red bumps that itch, turn into a rash and then turn dry and flaky all over my body, even my scalp. It took me getting a biopsy from a dermatologist to figure out it was these pills! DO NOT take these! Like the other posters have stated, these should be taken off the market."

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I like many others could not understand why I was developing a rash on my arms, well needless to say , do not take these vitamins. They worked for a nail I need to grow back but the rash is not worth it. Urine and bowel movements will smell horrible. Migraines definitely increased . These are absolutely horrendous . -10 stars if I could !!"

I wondered if it was due to this B 12 supplement by Natures Bounty I take oral pill . I switched to a sublingual product and had no problem. That vitamin needed refill and I had another Nature Bounty in my closet so I tried it again. Hives after first dose I ruled out every med and supplement. It’s definitely this product. I decided to google it and came upon this site my ah ~ha moment. I plan to call them regarding this issue as I want my money back and to make sure they get comments regarding this product"

Lipoflavonoid (multivitamin) "I am 49 yr old and have been wearing hearing aids for 44 yrs! (Since i was in kindergarten). Work yrs ago for some reason i developed ringing in both ears, each ear has its own tone and frequency ugh very annoying! Plenty of nights i just want to cry, tried taking Advid PM just to knock me out and tried Ambien even! I gave lipoflavonoid a try. It helps but not 100%. What i didnt realize just how much it helped tll last week i stopped taking it so i could start a diet....it came back with a vengeance and its loud! So its very gradual...u have to be patient taking these pills. They do work but it has to build up in system. I'm going back on lipoflavonoid today since theres mild side effects as apposed to AdvilPM & Ambien!!!"

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "Postpartum hair loss:The 2nd day of taking this I had a bad headache but I get them occasionally so I didn't connect the two. The 3rd time I woke up at 4 am and had severe hives covering my body. I took two Benadryl and waited and hour or so. It helped relieve the itching but my throat began to swell and it was difficult to breathe. My husband took me to the ER and I was given steroids and Pepcid. Finally the hives went away and I felt better so was discharged and slept for like 4 hours. Woke up with a headache so I took more benedryl which the doctor advised. All this to say, I will not be taking it anymore. I'll wear a scarf until my hair grows back! Not worth it! Plus they smell so bad and one night I kept belching that awful taste."

It's even worst now since using. I have lost a lot more of my hair this time worst, constant itching everywhere none stop. My scalp now have sores and it's terribly damaged worst than before. I drink more water than 8 glasses of water per day. So disappointed and embarrassed of how my hair looks now."

Lipoflavonoid (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "After a year on lorazepam (which is addictive)my ENT doc recommended this supplement for my vertigo. I've taken it religiously over ten year's with no known side effects. It saved my sanity and gave me back my life, after year's of daily vertigo. I was not able to function or actually "live" life, until I began taking lipo flavonoid. I also found the drugstore brand (which was cheaper) worked equal to the manufacturer brand. I tell anyone n everyone I meet about this supplement. I honestly don't understand why this supplement doesn't receive greater exposure to the public!!"

I have experienced dry itchy scalp, dry peeling hairline, dry hard rashy patches on my neck and severe sores on my scalp. My head is now discolored and very white. My head being on fire is an understatement, I have scratched until my edges have thinned out. This product should be taken off the market and the company should be sued. Today was my last day taking the gummies and hopefully my head will get back to normal. I'm glad I decided to read the reviews for this product because now I see I'm not alone, I have every symptom everybody else has and now I know I'm not going crazy"

Two weeks I have been on the vitamin, and for the entire two weeks my stomach was extremely upset. Diarrhea, upset stomach, sore throat, and skin rashes occured. I have never had any allergic reaction, or even side effects to medication or vitamins, until this. To top it all off, I have noticed not a single change in hair, skin, or nails. Be wary of this product, and at the very least, keep an eye out for symptoms."

I took 3 pills/day for two days (as directed on the bottle) before I noticed symptoms. The first night I did not sleep at all and by the second night, my entire body was covered in itchy burning hives that came in waves. I was itching and awake all night. It is an awful experience. Please DO NOT buy this product. Your body will thank you later."

My arms started to itch a lot and my skin got very flaky and rough. I was associating it to allergic reaction to something but it just never went away. I got extremely worried. Reading these reviews now I realized that these supplements are connected somehow. I stopped taking them in November but the itch and skin condition have not improved yet (It’s May now). I always had soft and healthy looking skin. Now I look like I have permanent damage."

Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I have been experiencing what feels like cuts and rashes on my face, itchy scalp and skin at night, tight headaches, and itchiness around my lips and eyes. These "vitamins" need to be taken off the shelves immediately. I couldn't figure out what was happening, I figured it was a reaction to an old foundation but realized these supplements had been something new in my routine. I will no longer be taking these & have been using Neosporin to help with the rashes. Just wash them with q tips and apply the ointment on like 3 times a day. It helps."

Super Plenamins (multivitamin) for Dietary Supplementation "I have been taking Rexall Super Plenamins Plus many, many years. I feel better almost immediately. If I go off and try something else immediately go back to Rexall Super Plenamins Plus. I do this because with other Vitamins and Minerals I start to drag through my day. I moved 55 miles North and don't know where to find a.store that sells Rexall vitamins. Hence why I'm on this computer site. Thanks"

Metanx (multivitamin) "My dad was having severe pain in his left leg for years and his endocrinologist suggested he take Metanx and try it for at least a month because it takes time to work. He had no side effects and it worked. He had gone to a neurologist who was going to put him on a pain pump, but he decided to try the Metanx first. He was grateful for the doctor that suggested it. He has been on it since it came out. It has gotten really expensive but is well worth it."
