For Peritoneal Cancer "I have been on Elahere for over one year. Initially, I was receiving an infusion every three weeks, but after the sixth infusion and increasing side effects, I went to every six weeks and reduced the dosage. So far, my CA-125 is holding steady, lower than 15! I wouldn’t be able to handle the side effects if I was getting it every three weeks. I have high blood pressure, eye issues, now resolved, abdominal pain, severe constipation, managed with lots of stool softeners and laxatives, neuropathy, and fatigue. I keep wanting to stop but am afraid that it will come back if I do. Elahere is the first thing that has kept me in remission for more than three months. I am grateful."

For Ovarian Cancer "I just received my third dose of Elahere. My 1st dose, my marker was 173, after 2nd dose, 183. Oncologist giving it one more try. I did experience blurry vision and light sensitivity but followed up with the eye doctor, and he was not concerned. Neuropathy is relentless! I have been on Taxol, Carbo, Doxil, Gemzar, and Avastin, and am praying Elahere will work."

For Ovarian Cancer "4 infusions CA125 dropped from 13,000 to 7597. Neuropathy controlled by gabapentin. Have neuropathy in feet and hands. Had gastric problems controlled by Pepcid and Zofran. Working to minimize side effects while Elahere controls my cancer. So far, things are looking good. CT scan due in 2 months will follow up on this site."

For Ovarian Cancer "Working - dropped tumor markers from 540 to 140 after 2 infusions. Severe and worsening abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea and constipation, pelvic bone pain. Have increased pain meds from T3 to Norco 5, then Norco 10. At night feels like no relief at all. Going to try morphine next."

For Ovarian Cancer "Had the 4th infusion of Elahere six days ago. Therefore, we don't yet know the efficacy of the treatment. Of the side effects listed in the 'Elahere Side Effects' document, to date, I have experienced more than half of them, including fever, nausea and vomiting, severe constipation along with a very sore lower abdominal area, blurred vision and loss of acuity, some eye pain, severe headache, muscle and joint pain, neuropathy, some pain when urinating, some weakening of legs, cough and hoarseness, decreased appetite, among others. Most of the painful side effects are fairly well controlled with medications."

For Ovarian Cancer "First infusion showed a fantastic drop in CA125. Some diarrhea after day 3 and touch and go for the next 2 weeks. I fell and broke my hip the night before the 2nd infusion. I spent the next 2 weeks in recovery. The second infusion occurred at week 5 with more diarrhea and more frequent occurrences. The third infusion is now causing almost constant diarrhea, tiredness, and loss of appetite with weight loss. I am searching for a cure for the diarrhea."

For Ovarian Cancer "After one infusion, CA-125 dropped from 540 to 340. Side effects after were mild - low level nausea, some diarrhea, mild loss of appetite. After the second infusion, severe abdominal pain & bloating, diarrhea for a week. Tried yoga, heating pad, exercise, Zofran, ibuprofen. Norco finally eased the pain."

For Ovarian Cancer "I started Elahere in February 2024 and experienced side effects, constipation, fatigue, loss of appetite, and several days after the treatment I had diarrhea. Three weeks later, before my second treatment, I had my blood work done and my CA125 went up from 47 to 94... very disappointing. I had my second infusion in March 2024, I had less fatigue, less loss of appetite, still had constipation for a couple of days, and the diarrhea started after that, plus I now have this itchy burning sensation in my right shoulder blade in my back that I did not have before. I am also doing Prednisolone Acetate 1% eye drops, which I do one drop in each eye four times a day to help with any eye problems, so far, so good. Praying my next CA125 shows better results next month."

For Ovarian Cancer "Only have had two infusions so far. Prior to 2nd infusion CA125 dropped from 190 to 160. Had diarrhea, gas, headache, fatigue, SOB, and vertigo for several days after each infusion. 1 week after 2nd infusion, had extreme eye dryness, itchy, blurred, painful, and cloudy vision."

For Ovarian Cancer "In November 2024, my ovarian cancer came back very aggressively to my peritoneal area. In 2020, I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer that metastasized to my abdominal lining (peritoneal). I have had three recurrences since then. I'm platinum resistant. When I started Elahere, my CA125 was 2870. I had cancerous nodules about 3 cm in diameter in the lining of my abdomen. After my first infusion, it went down to 1800. After my second infusion, it decreased to 207. After my third infusion, it decreased to 54. After my fourth infusion, it decreased to 27. I receive my infusions every 3 weeks and will have a CT scan near the end of this month. I do have some neuropathy that is mild to moderate in my toes and fingertips, which I manage with Nervive and magnesium oil. Elahere has also raised my glucose levels. I manage that with Metformin. I hope this information helps everyone."
