For Urinary Frequency "I took Myrbetriq for 4 months for treatment of severe overactive bladder. It helped me only slightly and the side effects for me would have caused me to stop taking it even if it had been 100% helpful. It immediately spiked my blood pressure to an average of 180/110, and my blood pressure returned to normal as soon as I stopped taking it. It also caused me bladder pain, which I can best describe as feeling like my bladder was filled with shards of broken glass whenever my bladder got full. I also had difficulty emptying my bladder. I wanted this to work, but unfortunately, it did not for me."

For Urinary Frequency "I was given the 25mg for two weeks then progressed to the 50 mg. This pill is a Godsend. I felt relief with the first pill. As I continued to take the other pills for the first week, I have seen a very big improvement. I now control my bladder, it doesn't control me. I can sleep up to 5 hours a night without getting up to go. Thank you for this great medication. I have had no side effects. I love this medication and recommend it for others to try. It has changed my life."

For Urinary Frequency "This medication has changed my life. I could tell a difference with this medicine within a day or two of taking it. I can now leave my home and not worry about where the restrooms are located everywhere I go. I don't have to worry about having an 'accident' on my way to the restroom. I can sleep all through the night. Only problem is, yesterday I received a letter from my insurance company stating it is no longer covered under my pharmacy benefit plan. So I can't afford to continue taking Myrbetriq."

For Urinary Frequency "Myrbetriq worked 100% when I first started on it. Somehow, I missed taking it for several days and the symptoms returned. I have been faithfully taking it for 3 months since the 'break' in taking it and there is no reduction in my symptoms. I am back to where I was before I was prescribed the medicine."

For Urinary Incontinence "I have been feeling very bad for the last 3 weeks. I even went to the ER. I have had high BP, constant headache, shortness of breath, chest pains, rapid heartbeat, and buzzing in my ears. It has not helped my bladder issues. Worst of all, none of the doctors I have seen figured that out. Even after asking what all my medications are. When they kept telling me all was well, except for mildly high BP. So, each time I left feeling like I was going crazy or a hypochondriac. Then I started thinking, what drug have I started taking most recently. I looked it up and surprise... there were all my symptoms. Well, I have stopped taking this drug and will not recommend it to anyone..."

For Urinary Incontinence "Myrbetriq was like a miracle. By the 2nd day of taking the 25mg tablet, the cup of urine that would leak out when I stood up and walked to the bathroom was reduced to only drops. On the 14th day, I was increased to 50mg and all leakage and urgency stopped. By the 35th day, all my symptoms returned, and may actually be worse than before I started taking it. I called the doctor, and she said to keep taking it as it will start working again. I'm on my 3rd prescription and now using urine pads in my bed and liners in my underwear. I spoke with others online claiming to have the same problem. This is awful, it gave me back my freedom and then ripped it away."

For Urinary Incontinence "For two or three days, this drug Myrbetriq seemed to help my urinary urgency issues. But it quickly raised my blood pressure and caused heart-pounding problems. Then my hair started to fall out. I went online and read of many people losing their hair from this drug, so I stopped it immediately. I am so glad I had been given a 30-day sample supply. It is so expensive, and it is not worth the side effects."

For Urinary Incontinence "Myrbetriq works great. I had no negative side effects. And it gave me my life back. Those who have incontinence know what I mean by giving me my life back. Only now, I am unable to take it due to the price, which saddens me. Hopefully, they will have a generic soon, so I can get back on it. I can only pray!"

For Urinary Incontinence "Took this expensive drug for 2 plus years. I still have incontinence and urgency. So disgusted. Had dose increase and was better for after 2 months, but 2 months later I'm back to having issues again. Also, my hair is changing (thin and straight), and I wonder if it is from this drug."

For Urinary Frequency "I’ve been on Myrbetriq for a little over a month now. I was thrilled that it worked on the first day, and it seemed like my urinary frequency was cured! But two to three weeks later, I started experiencing terrible stomach pain after eating and then horrible diarrhea. My doctor tried to tell me it wasn’t Myrbetriq, that these are not common side effects of this drug, but after reading these reviews, I see I am not alone in suffering from these particular side effects. I'm sad about quitting this medication because it worked very well for my urinary issues. But I’m quitting this medication today."

For Urinary Frequency "I have tried several medications with only a slight improvement. I was going to the toilet an average of 15 times a day, and now about 8-9. But the good thing is, I can now sleep at night. For the past couple of years, I have been waking up 2-3 times at night, and now I can sleep for 6-8 hours. Not only has it improved, but there are less side effects. Not much of a dry mouth. Finally, a medicine that works."

For Urinary Frequency "I can't find anyone else that experiences this, but I swear when I take this medication it sometimes makes my symptoms worse. At least 3-4 times a week, it is like my bladder just fills up over and over really fast with tons of clear urine. I don't know where it comes from. It most often happens first thing in the morning so there is little to no way of ever sleeping in on my day off. If I am not exhausted, my bladder won't let me sleep but so much. This morning it was every 15-30 mins I was urinating like I had been chugging gallons of water. Sometimes it follows me to work and since I am on the road with my job, I am in complete hell at times. I do not have diabetes. Doctors say at least my kidneys are good. Yet the misery continues."

For Urinary Incontinence "I was given a sample of this from my doctor 50mg. After about 16 hours, the lower abdominal and groin pain became unbearable. Literally felt like I was having labor pains. This lasted for about 8 hours, and I thought I was past the side effects. I am taking strong pain medicine for my neck, but even that did not reduce the pain. The next morning, I woke up with a lot of pain in my lower back, and my joints hurt. It is now day 4 after taking 1 pill, and my joints are still bothering me. I have been told that I am very sensitive to medication, but I personally would not recommend trying this medication unless you have exhausted all other options. It also made my blood pressure skyrocket. The warning label definitely needs to be fixed."

For Urinary Incontinence "I had a bad experience with this drug. It did stop my bladder leakage, but it caused my blood pressure to spike, which in turn caused headaches, blurred vision, confusion, and chest pain. It also caused sleepiness, dry mouth, sinus issues, joint pain, and my hair fell out by the handful. It wasn't worth it to me."

For Urinary Frequency "This Myrbetriq drug did help me at first with the overactive bladder, but then stopped working. Do NOT take this drug. I was tired ALL of the time to the point where it was disgusting. I would nap three hours a day and felt so lazy. Changed who I was completely. It also made me very sick if I went out for a drink. I have hair loss issues as well. It isn’t worth it for me, I’d rather just pee my pants."

For Urinary Frequency "I have been taking this medication for 30 days, and it works. I have actually slept through the night at least once without getting up to pee. Plus, no dry mouth side effects. No longer getting up 3-4 times a night to pee. Works great but is expensive."

For Urinary Incontinence "I LOVE this new medication. I began seeing a major difference by the second day of use. I'm taking 50 mg a day and have no side effects. I also have marked improvement of frequency, urgency and especially continuous leaking. This drug is a life saver."

For Urinary Incontinence "I have found Myrbetriq to be helpful with incontinence and urgency. I have been able to sleep all night without a need to arise. I have noticed that shortly after I started Myrbetriq, I began to have strands of my hair falling from my head onto my face and my clothing for the first time ever. I am very concerned and will be discussing it with my doctor soon."

For Urinary Incontinence "Have dual problem - (1) urgency requiring multiple trips to the bathroom at night - (2) difficulty urinating with unknown cause - had several TURPs. Tried Myrbetriq for a year - no improvement for urgency - no side effects - dropped because it pushed me into the donut hole in med cost."

For Urinary Incontinence "I have been taking this for eight months with great results and no side effects. I have incontinence with a pulsating bladder that only stops with this medication. Only downside is it just stops working for two days every other week. Then it's back to being the best thing I've used. My insurance company is refusing to pay after one more month. I will be back to bladder underwear and multiple bathroom trips each night."

For Urinary Frequency "In the past, all medications failed. Then, I went for stimulation of the Tiva nerve, but that did not work after 12 weeks of therapy. My average times per day was approximately 15. I have been on MYRBETRIQ 25MG for 3 days, and my average now is 9. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. No side effects. I am a 70-year-old male."

For Urinary Frequency "My primary doctor recommended Oxybutynin for one month and said if no improvement in my evening frequency, I should see a urologist. So there was no improvement and the urologist prescribed Myrbetriq (50 mg). The evening after the 4th pill, I could not pee at all and had to be rushed to emergency where they installed a catheter to empty my bladder that was ready to explode. I thought I was going to die until that put me on the catheter. I was on the catheter at home for 5 days, suffering from the pain that the catheter was causing me. When the urologist removed the catheter, he did not know that urinary blockage was one of the side effects, which really surprised me. I told him that before seeing him, I had read some patients on Myrbetriq forums saying that the drug caused urinary blockages. He poo-pooed the reason for their blockage and said they must have been prone to blockage rather than due to taking Myrbetriq. I strongly disagree with his assessment."

For Urinary Frequency "I have been on this medication for 2 months - 50 mg. It has reduced my frequency slightly (from 20 to 18 times), but has relieved the bladder pressure and urgency (that was constant). I can almost sleep for 5 hrs without the need to urinate. It has significantly improved the quality of my life. When I started the medication I had headaches, but after a week they disappeared."
