"I had been going 1 year to women's physio and using a pelvic floor toner. At the end of it, I was told I was doing the exercises completely wrong and there was no improvement. I felt in despair. I'm only 40, and I was having to wear incontinence pads, run to the bathroom in the morning (or I had an accident) and not being able to drink alcohol on a night out for fear of badly wetting myself. I felt like I was an old woman before my time. My husband was sympathetic, but our sex life deteriorated as I felt a million miles from sexy. I was prescribed Vesicare, which had no impact and just gave me insomnia. Then I was prescribed Betmiga. What a miracle worker! Symptoms improved immediately, and I have my life back. Taken for 2.5 months, no side effects. Hope it continues."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I have a prolapsed bladder, waiting for surgery. 1st dose of Myrbetriq I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't pee, but the pressure was there. My legs and feet went to sleep, and I couldn't walk. When I woke up again, there was the headache. Made the mistake of taking the second dose...but I won't take anymore. That pill is bad stuff. I'll just wet myself."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "After having 2 children, my urgency wasn't the deciding factor, but the fact I leaked all the time. Constant accidents throughout the day, and as I grow closer to my 30th birthday, I finally spoke up to my Dr., who started me on the Myrbetriq samples. I honestly couldn't believe they began working in such a short amount of time! After returning for a follow-up, we began a monthly prescription. At first, I couldn't brag enough. That was until a few weeks ago. It appears my urine is dark, I am back to several accidents and leakage episodes a day, and I'm physically in pain. My Dr. claims a UTI, so I took the prescription, which didn't help one bit. I'm at a loss and debating quitting the medicine and switching doctors."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I have found Myrbetriq to be amazing for me. Have been taking it for over a year now. I take one 25 mg each night and have had no side effects. I feel bad this has not worked for others. I thank my doctor for prescribing it, I had gone through so many difficulties before he started me with Myrbetriq."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "The worst I had experienced severe headaches, serious stomach pains, nausea, memory messed up, couldn't think clear. It was so bad I went to have brain scans and an MRI on my brain. Couldn't figure out what was wrong, thought I was dying. I read these posts and matched my issues exactly, then stopped taking meds. I wasn't asking my doctor anything. As soon as the first day of not taking it, I started feeling better and felt I was starting to return to normal. Horrible, horrible drug to take."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "Myrbetriq is working very well for me. After one pill, I thought I felt a little relief. The second pill provided a bit more relief. I take one pill a day, and I haven't had any accidents. It's working very well for me without any side effects at all."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I used Myrbetriq for 3 weeks for OAB. The last 2 weeks had urine retention, high BP, bad headaches, no relief from this med. I stopped it today because of bad side effects, urinate more than even. Can not recommend this medicine for anyone."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I have been taking 50mg now for two weeks. It has changed my life. I don't need to wear depends anymore. I have no side effects that I can discern. I wish it wasn't so expensive. I learned I could save money by ordering 90 days instead of 30 days. So for 90 days, the cost is around $450. A 30-day supply is about $340."

"I took this for a little over a month, and hair started falling out. Stopped it straight away. Now, eyebrows falling out. Why do they prescribe drugs like this, like people aren't suffering enough? It is unbelievable that in 2021 you can send a rocket to space and back, but you can't fix a bladder problem. I've lost all trust in doctors and hospitals. You can't help but feel forgotten about. I had a life once, but now it's nothing but heartache and dark thoughts and mirabegron."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I only used Myrbetriq three times and quit because of side effects. Some dizziness the first two days, but after the third dose, I woke at 3 AM feeling very dizzy and nauseous. After a few hours, the nausea went away, but the dizziness persisted and was so bad I could not get out of bed at all. This was yesterday; today I am much better and will look at other treatments."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "50 mg extended release. Prescribed by my urologist for urge incontinence. Cannot use older, cheaper drugs now on the market because of medical contraindications in my case. Myrbetriq is ludicrously expensive and would cost me $500 a month. My doctor has fortunately been great about giving me samples that I have been using for a couple of months now. It has definitely reduced my urge incontinence, but unfortunately not eliminated it. No side effects… yet. But because of the crazy cost (and now, the possible side effects I’m reading about here), I’m going to stop taking it. I would rather not take medication anyway, so I’m getting bladder Botox injections next month. Those only have to be done twice a year. Still, I’m glad I tried Myrbetriq."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "Quite simply: life-changing. I really mean it was life-changing, as in it changed my everyday activities tremendously. Before Myrbetriq, I had to think about what size and how many pads I would need for the day. I constantly had to calculate my liquids intake and access to bathrooms. In addition to peeing very frequently (three times a night), I also would not be able to hold my urine when I arrived home or was close to sitting on a toilet. I thought I would just have to live with this the rest of my life. Now, it's as if I were a kid again-just going about my business and not thinking about when and where the bathrooms are and sleeping a full night. I take 25 mg/night and don't think I have side effects. Sometimes I have dry mouth, which could be a side effect, but it isn't bad. Ironically, I drink liquids so much more now to combat it, and I don't worry about leakage or where the next bathroom is. Thank you, inventors of Myrbetriq!!! Thank you!"

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "Prescribed by urologist; wow, the price, so I didn't even start; no coverage by Medicare; co-pay astronomical; should have a generic, but manufacturers are too happy with the big profits from having only brand name; millions of people who need a good med for OAB, and not much to be found for the average person that they can afford."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I was on generic Detrol LA for years for bladder problems related to multiple sclerosis. It stopped working after many years, so my neuro increased the dosage. That worked for another three years, then stopped working altogether. Before trying a new medicine, my neurologist referred me to a urologist who prescribed Myrbetriq after performing a few tests. She told me it may take some time before I saw results. I started seeing results in a few days. Perhaps I am a medical outlier because the effect was immediate. I have not experienced side effects to my knowledge; multiple sclerosis causes many of the side effects of Myrbetriq as do other medicines I take. Currently taking physical therapy for MS symptoms and will start pelvic floor therapy. Time will tell if my body response remains on the positive side."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I was leaking urine a lot and had 8 UTIs in one year. They gave me Myrbetriq, and I was okay for about a month, but now leaking a lot. I was about to freak out. I see Dr. Fri, and we are going to talk..."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I have been taking Myrbetriq (25 mg once a day) for 30 days along with Tamsulosin (0.4 mg once a day). I have taken Tamsulosin for a while, and it was not working by itself. I have had no side effects with Myrbetriq that I know of, and my urinary continence issue has decreased about 50%, which is a big difference. I still get the urge to go and have a difficult time stopping the flow, but it is getting better. Hopeful the next 30 days will show more improvement."

"I have been taking 50 mg tabs for approx. 2 months. It has never helped my bladder urgency...seemed to make it worse. The side effects I developed were very dry, flaky, peeling skin, which I never had, frequent headaches, ringing in the ears, runny nose, also unusual for me, and a UTI, which I never had an issue with for years. I told the doctor I didn't like this medication, however, she wouldn't replace it with another. Well, I have stopped taking it...my decision!! You know your body better than anyone and know what it is telling you...aka your GUT feeling!!!"

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I am 44 and suffer from constant waking at night to urinate and have to push down to get all the urine out. I am constantly in the bathroom during the day. The urologist wasn't sure what was going on after the cystoscopy, just that I have a small bladder. He gave me 3 weeks of samples, and I'm into the 2nd week. I read it takes several weeks to see effects, so I'm not sure when it will help because it hasn't yet. I suffer from migraines, and I have been getting mild headaches most every day. I am at the point where I want to self-cath before bed to get all the urine out and avoid frequent waking. I'm gonna finish up the week and a half I have left, but so far, no results. If the headaches continue, I will not be filling a prescription. I am at the point that I would rather self-cath before bed and drink less water during the day. I will rate again at 3 weeks."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I started taking Myrbetriq in June 2022. It did work at stopping my leakage, but I noticed my hair started falling out. Since June, I’ve lost 50% of my hair. It’s horrible. I read other reviews saying their hair was falling out, so I stopped it 2 weeks ago. My hair is not falling out everywhere anymore. The drug manufacturer does not state this as a potential side effect. Beware. If you’re losing your hair, it might be this drug."

"Mum has been taking it for approximately 6 weeks. Sleeplessness (albeit seems to be a rare side effect) has gotten progressively worse during this time. Doesn’t seem to have consistently reduced her incontinence, which is especially bad at night, if anything, it seems worse as she’s up hourly either to pee or feeling she needs to pee. Also affects her bowels (after taking mirabegron, she is very loose on and off all day). A nightmare for us as her carers and terrible for her as not sleeping either!"

"I started taking this just before I started on a 40-day overseas trip. On the plane, I had a need to open my bowels too often, I lost my appetite and felt quite weird. Because I wasn’t eating much, I felt weak. The next day, I felt pressure in my head, not exactly a headache though, just a thick head. Thought I must have eaten something bad or had caught COVID or some other disease. Also, my wee was reduced. I finally realized it might have been the mirabegron and stopped taking it. Felt better after a few days of stopping it."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "I have been using 25 mg for a month now. It’s a miracle, no leaking, no need to get up at night to urinate, no constant urge to use the bathroom, and no more bulky pads! The only downside is the $400/month cost. I am so much happier now that I don’t feel I have to constantly pee all the time. Life changer."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "As an 84-year-old woman, I was having increasing problems with leakage, so my doctor put me on Vesicare. The symptoms of my incontinence still got worse over several years. I would get up many times in the night and often would wet my pad before I could get to the toilet, located only 12 feet from my bed! Sometimes the flood was so great it overflowed the pad. So my doctor started me on 25 mg Myrbetriq at bedtime. Wow! I sleep well usually, with only one trip to the toilet, and I get there in plenty of time. (I do have some urgency on daytime mornings, but if I stop whatever I am doing IMMEDIATELY and head to the toilet, I am able to get there with no leakage. (My doctor said I could try taking another Myrbetriq in the morning, but I am reluctant to add more medicines unless the situation becomes intolerable, although I don't notice side effects.) We have an excellent prescription plan, so the copay is tolerable for me."

Myrbetriq (mirabegron) "Took 25 mg for 3 months, urgency decreased, but stress incontinence was the same (as I was told to expect). By 2 or 3 months, it wasn't working as well, so my uro increased to 50 mg. (Started taking just last week.) I've noticed all along hair thinning and headaches, but didn't make the connection until I read reviews. Now I'm having swelling in my feet, but it could be related to another med. Cardiologist gave me a diuretic if it happens again. I'll try to finish out the 90-day supply I have already paid for and see how it goes. After that, I can't afford it anyway due to the donut hole. I have several high copay prescriptions, and I've had to choose between heart and arthritis meds and bladder leaks. Myrbetriq isn't worth the cost."
