Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "Personally, I used these Salonpas Pain Patches several times, and twice I was having terrible pain. Neither time did they work. They are a waste of time and money. They do not work, and this is from my very own personal experience. Thank you."

Methyl salicylate topical for Osteoarthritis "Since I only recently purchased my first package, I do not know what the old one was like. I have had so much relief from the latest formula. My sister recommended them, and I love them for arthritic back and hips. I only use a small patch. I can see how large ones might be hard to apply without help, but I haven't had any trouble at all, and they stay on just fine. My stepdaughter recently visited, and her knees were hurting. They helped her as well. Don't change a thing. Advice from a new loyal customer."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "I used Salonpas patches for muscle pain. I did not receive any relief due to the patches not sticking to the skin. I washed and dried the skin thoroughly. I remember Salonpas patches worked a few years ago and stayed stuck until they were taken off and they relieved the pain. Now, maybe the patch stays stuck on the skin approximately 15 minutes and rolls off. No pain relief at all. Waste of time and money."

Methyl salicylate topical for Rheumatoid Arthritis "I was having knee pain, so I bought the cream and a patch. I rubbed the cream, and the following day, my knee and the back of my thigh were inflamed and swollen with blisters, and I felt like I had a fever. The swelling was so bad I could not bend my knee. It took one month to get rid of the side effects. Consult your doctor. This over-the-counter cream is dangerous."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "I have a 37° curve in my spine, and when my lidocaine patches were no longer covered, I reached for Salonpas. I wore them as directed and received 2nd degree chemical burns on my back. This product should NOT be on the shelves!"

Methyl salicylate topical for Rheumatoid Arthritis "These saved Salonpas patches for me. They are strong enough to help my pain! I have arthritis all over. I don’t use them for my eyes, but I have arthritis in my eyes. You guys saved me. They stay stuck for 24 hours. Thank you, for my life is better because of Salonpas!!!"

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "There were no negative side effects. I have used it for several years. However, now I'm unable to buy it anywhere. Please help, I really use this instead of taking pills. I tried this several years ago. I think it cost like $5-6, but I purchased it at Eckerd's, now CVS, on clearance for $1.50."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "I wish I could tell you if it works, but after spending 13 bucks on a package, I threw one on my shoulder, and within 5 minutes max, it became all bunched up, then fell off. Waste of money, will never use another product that they make."

Methyl salicylate topical for Rheumatoid Arthritis "Stuck on Salonpas on my strained ankle, and within a few hours, had a patch of red rashes with blisters. One week later, the whole patch became scaly and thick with countless blisters that broke and crusted. This is some dangerous medicated plaster. I never had an allergy that bad!"

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "Salonpas Pain Patch is hard to apply when you live alone and the pain is on your back. It was a struggle to keep it from folding over on itself and next to impossible to get it in the right place. It is sort of on the area now, wrinkled, and I am waiting for something to happen. I probably will return to Voltaren."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "Never buy this again. Salonpas Lidocaine patch never touched my pain. I couldn't tell I had it on. Couldn't feel the medicine doing anything. $10 for the box. Now I'm stuck with my pain and patches that don't work."

Methyl salicylate topical "Both my boyfriend and I have been using these patches for a number of weeks now. One patch lasts 8-10 hours. We bought from eBay at a fraction of the price charged by the local chemists. They have been absolutely amazing in reducing our serious pain. Highly recommended."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "Surprised by some of the adverse comments regarding this product. I find instant relief and long-lasting relief when I use them for shoulder and neck pain. And I can now get a good night's sleep with their use. And they are really simple to apply. Good product."

Methyl salicylate topical for Osteoarthritis "I prefer the older white patches as they stuck all night. But I will say they take my pain away in about 1/2 hour and work great! They need to make their patches stick better! Call customer service and they are rude. I buy patches and use them but wish the white ones were back for people NOT allergic to latex!"

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "I've used Salonpas Patch for muscle pain for a few years. They definitely help the pain every time. Yes, they do have a tendency to stick to themselves, which is awkward. But it is possible to keep them usable. I just have to pay attention and don't rush. I wipe the area with a cloth wetted with alcohol. They always stay for me then. I'm having back spasms now, and a prescription muscle relaxer hasn't touched the pain. These took it away. Well worth the effort."

Methyl salicylate topical for Osteoarthritis "Had a kink in my neck for weeks, and OTC pain relievers were not making a dent. Tried Salonpas, and they worked the very first time. Very impressed with how quickly the pain/discomfort was reduced, for the most part eliminated. For the price, to me, they are the best value out there for nagging pain and discomfort. Someone did mention that they need to be applied to the muscle(s) in the target area, and not on or too near any bone(s). I did have two times I tried them on my knee, and there was not much improvement. On my neck above the spine (thoracic?), I put one on the meaty area between that and the back of my head, and it is amazing."

For Muscle Pain "I was having some muscle pain in my legs, and so my husband put some of the rub on my leg, and as soon as he started rubbing it in, I reeked of pain, and it felt like someone had a torch to me! Now I look like I have had one leg in the sun for hours with an oil on it. I cannot put pants on it or anything over it because it is a bad burn."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "I bought the 105 mg/31.5 medicated plaster. After reading mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance as in so much pain. Had neck and shoulder pain for a couple of years. The plaster stuck well to clean, dry skin, and after the second day, I could feel a difference. It says not to wear after 3 days, however, when you open a pack of 5, you need to use them, so I did, and I think they are really worth buying. I will definitely keep them in the house to use. I also use a hot water bottle directly on the pain, which gives some comfort. Hope this helps."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "The amount of pain creams I have tried for my arthritis is honestly crazy, but the one I have stuck with for the last 7 months is Absorbine Jr. The cream moisturizes while it's relieving the pain, so my skin still feels healthy after using it. Some other creams I used dried out my skin and irritated it. This just feels like I'm moisturizing while also gaining pain relief to go about my daily life as usual. Honestly, a life saver."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "Be careful overusing. It will feel like you are burning. It does very little if you are feeling muscle that is actually caused by a pinched nerve. If you have nerve pain and not inflammation... you need an opioid. All OTC meds treat inflammation and not nerve pain."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "Purchased the Salonpas Pain Relieving Gel-Patch HOT for muscle pain in my shoulder at the recommendation of a pharmacist. The box I purchased had an expiration date of 10-2019, however, not one of the first three patches I used created any heat whatsoever. Pathetic product. Threw the remaining three patches in the trash and went back to TheraMax heat patches, which are excellent."

Methyl salicylate topical for Muscle Pain "I’ve been using Salonpas for a long time now, and this is the only time that I experienced a side effect. The skin where I placed the patch leaves a hive or a big whole rash, and it is so itchy and uncomfortable."

Methyl salicylate topical for Osteoarthritis "When first trying the pads, it had two patches on each side. They help with the pain, but hard to remove. I still use them, but now that they switched to one patch, they fall off. I showered and used alcohol on the site, however, they still fell off. I'm not pleased with the new way they come."
