For Ulcerative Colitis, Maintenance "6MP is the first drug that’s put me into remission and it’s been a long long time since I’ve been in remission. I take it alongside Octasa too. I still get some UC symptoms now and again but for the first time in so long I feel normal! However, I have had a huge amount of hair loss. Probably lost 1/3 of the hair on my head and because of this I’m being moved onto Humira. I hope this new drug stops my hair loss and keeps me in remission!"

For Crohn's Disease, Maintenance "My numbers improved a little bit, but I felt horrible the whole time taking it, plus I had severe side effects such as pancreatitis."

For Crohn's Disease, Active "This medication was very effective for all my Crohn's symptoms (including lack of energy, nausea, bleeding, etc.). It is like night vs. day being on this medication and being off of it."

For Ulcerative Colitis, Maintenance "I have been on mercaptopurine for about 6+ years and, thankfully, have had no side effects. I have been in remission (UC) since on this medication."

For Crohn's Disease, Maintenance "I have side effects of fatigue, so now I take the pill at 8-9 PM. I do feel the side effects while I am asleep."

For Autoimmune Hepatitis "I have been on 50 mgs daily since Sept 2012 to date. No side effects at all. I'm in the process of my prednisone wean and hope to also get off mercaptopurine by spring of 2014."
