For Bowel Preparation "Some people have the experience and they say "oh...it's not that bad...." this is the worst experience I've ever had in my life! For me it really is that bad. I remember gagging and throwing up and trying to get this nasty salt water/ fake cherry thing down....it was just awful! I don't know why this product even exists! No one should have to endure this kind of suffering...I thought I was going to be the end of me!"

For Bowel Preparation "I was initially worried I was going to be up all night on this stuff because of some of the reviews on here, but it wasn't terrible. The taste wasn't a huge deal - drink it cold and with a straw and you'll be fine. It's definitely not a margarita, but it's not the worst thing I've had to drink. The first round took effect in 15-20 minutes or so. I felt like it started to slow down after about 2 hours of intermittent going, with a few more trips to the bathroom between hours 2-3. Same in the morning. Protip: Don't sit on the toilet the whole time, your legs will start falling asleep. But don't go far. Protip: Don't trust a fart. It's not a fart."

For Bowel Preparation "Like previous posters, I had focused on negative reviews and was terrified as this was my first prep. At 3pm I took my first dose. I mixed my prep with cold water and refrigerated before taking. I had read the lemon slice trick a few times, so had some on hand. I took it down in three large gulps and didn't have any problems. I drank the next 32 ounces of water with ease. About 30 minutes later was my first movement. That dose had me in and out of the bathroom for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The second dose I repeated at 11pm, same exact thing. I was able to sleep from 1:30am until leaving the house at 6:30am. I worried for nothing. All finished and results were just fine!"

For Bowel Preparation "I was dreading this, but I have to say it was not as bad as I was expecting. Your doc will probably give you a tip list...read it! Use COLD water, crystal light (I used the lemonade flavor), a straw, and hold your nose. Then suck on a lemon or lime. I am a pretty healthy eater and followed directions regarding foods to watch/eliminate in rather days prior to this. I think this helped tremendously! I ate a light dinner the night before prep started as well. The Suprep started to work in about an hour, and lasted about 2 hours. I was able to get some sleep, but had to get up at 3AM for round 2 as I had a 730 arrival. I had no issues/side effects."

For Bowel Preparation "So, I was nervous about this Suprep ordeal ALL day. 9:30am colonoscopy appointment; started the prep 4pm the evening before. I had out of this world anxiety. First, the taste is not THAT bad. I had some burping while taking it down. Sip water in between prep sips. 25 minutes after starting (before finishing the prep) I needed to use the bathroom. Big watery movement for the first one. Finished the prep and drank most of the the rest of the 32 ounces. Watery movements coming every few minutes; but, no pain, no cramps, no nausea. By 5pm, my bowel movements are clear. The prep does not cause horrible diarrhea ... it does cause diarrhea, but it's not horrible. It just comes out. No cramping or straining. Just a literal flush of the system. Second dose will be about 9pm."

For Bowel Preparation "This is by far the best colon prep I've used having undergone 3 other colonoscopies. I drank the first dose in about 5 minutes and the second one in less than 10 minutes. Using a wide straw sure helped get it down easier. The first time I had to get to the bathroom in about 40 minutes and the second dose in about 30 minutes from first drinking. I was totally cleaned out by the time I had my colonoscopy which went very well - no polyps, just the diverticulosis, which I knew about from prior scopes of the pipes. Good advice-have baby wipes handy. The ones with aloe & vitamin E are very soothing. Also some sort of ointment for the burning soreness. The Suprep made the experience much more tolerable. Good luck with your procedure!"

For Bowel Preparation "Not the best tasting stuff but manageable. Held my breath and took it all at once. Started working on me in another 40 minutes. Did what it’s supposed to do. Expect a very raw anus though. Second dose was a little rough. Barely gagged it down. Did not seem to be as “ explosive” as the first dose. Only side effects for me are nausea and a mild headache."

For Bowel Preparation "I had been dreading this test literally for years, since I hate drinking bad-tasting things. I can’t even chug a beer. But I survived Suprep. It actually didn’t taste as bad as I feared. Tips that worked for me: - chill it. - put yourself in a nice frame of mind. Hug your kids, put on calming music, whatever puts you in your happy place. - remind yourself constantly that this does not suck a millionth as much as colon cancer. - drink as much as you can as fast as you can. A straw might help, for me, I found drinking and sucking it in hard helped the fluid flow around my tongue and I tasted it less. - then drink some water or clear liquid immediately. - if you’re worried about nausea, tell your doctor. - have some cold non-diet ginger ale on hand and use it as an anti-nausea drug. - don’t wait too long to take the next long drink and don’t obsess. - have Preparation H wipes and Vaseline ready for after. You can do this!"

For Bowel Preparation "This stuff is definitely a lot better than having to drink a gallon jug of liquid, that's what my doctor first prescribed me and I said "nope, have bad memories of that stuff," luckily it was changed to Suprep. I was a little late taking my first dose which didn't end up being till 9pm, I took the second dose at 3am. The first dose wasn't bad, horrible taste even with lemonade mix, but it was tolerable with a chaser of water. I was prescribed Zofran just in case of nausea from this, so that helped a lot. I was on the toilet within 20 minutes and I was pretty much shooting out clearer liquids an hour later. I made sure to be on a low fiber diet for a couple days before the clear liquid day, plus I'm on Linzess and that gives me daily diarrhea. Second dose was hell and I only drank a little over half of it. It still did the job just fine, looked like yellow pee coming out my butt from the start."

For Bowel Preparation "First colonoscopy ever. This prep worked great. Yes a bit salty, but just gulp it down and chase it with the water. No cramping, nausea or headache. Started working in a bout 40 minutes. Stay close to the bathroom and get to the toilet at the hint of movement. Took about 4 hours to complete the first round. Did the second round the morning of my procedure, took it at 5 am for an 11:00 procedure. Second round was a breeze. Cleared out by 8:30am and doctor reported fully cleared. This prep is worth the money and I will definitely use it again. Have no fear folks?"

For Bowel Preparation "Guzzled each 16 ounce portion at directed times, took about 9 huge gulps. Drank the required 32 ounces of water after each dose in similar fashion, 16 ounces first, waited 5 minutes, and guzzled the next 16 ounces. Worked as it should, the taste of the product, when mixed with pretty cold water, didn't really bother me."

For Bowel Preparation "I’m not sure how people are able to do this. I’m 21 years old and unfortunately have to get a colonoscopy done. It took me an hour and a half, 4 water bottles and 2 cans of ginger ale to be able to get this stuff down. It is awful. Not looking forward to doing this again in the morning. I mixed it with sprite but it was way too sweet, big mistake"

For Bowel Preparation "I am 67. This is what you need to know: 1. Refrigerate the water and solution, the colder the better. 2. Wash the mixing container before the next two containers of water, the smell is worse than the taste. 3. Have at least a fresh role of toilet paper and a toilet bowl brush, you will need them. 4. Have a package of diaper wipes, it makes the mess easier to clean up. I went two days without food just to make this job easier, I do not mind hunger. The day prior to the my 7am appointment I drank the first round starting at 1pm. It started to work in 20 minutes. The second round I started at 6pm, it again was working in 20 minutes and over in about 3 hours. Prior to using the solution I drank a lot of gator aid, no hunger to speak of."

For Bowel Preparation "Braintree Laboratories describes their product, SUPREP, as having a “berry” flavor. Not as well understood, is that I think it is the oft-maligned Satanberry. Satanberry is known for its noxious odor and, if unfortunate enough to be ingested, causes Krakatoa-like eruptions of sulfurous gas and violent, firehose-like evacuations of all internal solids and liquids. Poo foam? Yes, you will probably experience this rude shock too. Anus as red as a baboon’s behind? You betcha. Aftershocks may occur the day after the actual colonoscopy. In my opinion, SUPREP is overkill for preparation of bowel cleansing. Go for the gentler Prepopik or MoviPrep, either of which I will again insist upon for my next cleansing prior to colonoscopy."

For Bowel Preparation "I have had so many preps in the 37 years of test, sometimes 2 a year. Suprep is by far the best. No gallon of grossness to drink!!! Be prepared it starts to work quickly. 2 hours of continuous trips, sometimes not even leaving the bathroom. Drink all the liquids you can day before and day of prep. Gatorade is your friend. You got this!"

For Bowel Preparation "Every BODY is different and that's the truth with my experience with Suprep. I finished my first dose at 7pm and at 10:30 pm I had my first real liquid movement. I had one or two soft solid movements before this but for me it took a long time. I'm ok. Watching Netflix. Finished drinking in 18 minutes. I took someone's advice and sucked on lemon wedges between gulps, which was a life saver for me. Since I had such a long time in between drinking the drink and the true cleansing part of this process, I did have some bloating and "felt the drink working" in my intestinal track, so some cramps and no movement. Now that the flood gates have opened it's better. Early appointment. Up at 3:30 am to drink again. Not much sleep tonight."

For Bowel Preparation "I’m in a family gene pool of colon issues, so colonoscopy procedures do not scare me having had about 5 of them over 20 years. My concern is the PRICE of the prep! I’m retired and Medicare covered less than 1/3 of the cost. Why is this stuff SO EXPENSIVE$$$$????? AND it’s nasty but simpler than the old methods of prep which were over the counter items! BIG PHARMA AT IT AGAIN SHAME ON YOU!"

For Bowel Preparation "Did SUPREP for the first time this week. After first part (evening dosage) - I thought it was the best prep ever. Relatively easy to get down vs prior 3 preps. The flavor pretty manageable, it acted very quickly and was very effective prep. I was a little queasy, but it was no big deal. All night I told hubby “this is easy peasy!” And I got a good nights sleep - something I couldn’t do with prior preps. I woke up early for 2nd half of prep. This was MUCH tougher to get down - I could only do about 3/4 of it, and only a little water. I finally used apple juice. 20 minutes later, the nausea was overwhelming and...up it all came. When I went in this morning for colonoscopy, the nurses were unconcerned what had happened - they said this isn’t unusual for 2nd half of SuPrep. And my clean out was fine! Would I do this prep again? In a heart beat! An easy first part, a good night’s sleep, and knowing the 2nd part isn’t a showstopper make this a good prep for me!"

For Bowel Preparation "The GI doctor's nurse took pity on me because I was so very, very scared of having a colonoscopy and gave me a sample of Suprep. I made sure not to drink anything for at least thirty minutes before I drank each dose of Suprep and water so my stomach would have room for 48 ounces of fluid within an hour. But I drank a lot of liquids that day at other times. I didn't love the taste of Suprep, but it wasn't gag-inducing either. I just added a couple of ice cubes to chill it. It took only a half hour or so for the action to start. I had to take my second dose very late in the evening so, after things quieted down, I decided to try sleeping in my recliner in case shaving seconds off my next bathroom trip was important. I should have just gone to bed. I definitely made a mountain out of a molehill when it comes to having a colonoscopy. The doctor removed a polyp so now I'm on the five-year plan. I likely will request Suprep the next time."

For Bowel Preparation "I really dreaded this stuff. I am a wimp when it comes to eating and drinking. This stuff wasn't bad at all. I chilled it for a couple days then iced the water first. I extracted the ice and added the Suprep. It didn't even taste that bad. Kinda like a salty Koolaid. Just imagine your five year old made it, and drink it down. No problem. Started to work in about 30 minutes. No cramping, no nausea, not even uncomfortable. The worst part so far is the day without real food. Hoping tomorrow goes as well!"

For Bowel Preparation "Tastes horrible but effective. I had no nausea or chills. I drank it at 4:45 PM and really nothing for 1 1/2 hours...then a regular bowel motion. About a half hour later Katy bar the door. Then the squirts till about 10:00. I got up a couple of times in the night but no big deal. At 4:15 in the morning I suffered through the second dose. Immediate results and squirts for about 1 1/2 hours and a few sporadic times after that. It is 7 and I think I am done. Almost time to head out. My procedure is at 9:40. I hope this it for the next 5 years. I think the worst part is not eating. I am ready for some Mexican food. A huge pile of enchiladas. Rice. Beans. Hot sauce. Hot flour tortillas. Smeared with butter."

For Bowel Preparation "Well, this stuff doesn’t taste very good but man, does it work. My Doctor gave me good advice to help get it down. Make your 16 oz solution and drink 6 oz of it then rinse. Wait 10 min and drink another 5 oz, then wait 20 min and polish it off. It must be cold to tolerate. I was starting the cleansing process only about 15 minutes after taking half my first dose. Don’t plan on going anywhere or doing anything until this stuff runs it’s course. I still have my second dose to take at 10pm tonight. Might have to just tape a pillow to the wall in the bathroom and sleep in there. Plan ahead. Get some mobile entertainment and take care of yourselves. It’s not fun but neither is dying if you can prevent it. So roll up them sleeves and get it done. Also get some good butt ointment and some wet wipes."
