"I have used this, and I find it really works. I guess everyone's body chemicals and systems are different, so maybe that's why it works well in some and others not so well. There are times when I go four days without a bowel movement, and as soon as I take a pill, within two hours I have results. I am told I should take it every day, but due to the work I do, I would be in the bathroom every day for way too long. I use it on day three now and use it the next day as well and find it actually empties me out. I have read a lot of people have diarrhea from this, but isn't that the point, to empty you out when you have been full for a week? This stuff is awesome, and for me, I will take the couple hours of toilet time."

"This medication has saved me from so much pain and prevented hospital admissions. I was taking the max dose daily but became incontinent, so I dropped down to one every other day, and it's brilliant. I take it in the evening, and within 2 hours, it works."

"I am 30 years old and have had extreme constipation for years. I'm on day 3 of the 290 dose... Still no bowel movement. Feeling extremely bloated. Was really hoping this would work for me. Has anyone else had problems with the medication working at the start of use?"

"I began taking Linzess 145 mcg in 2015 because of severe constipation caused by other medications I must take. This specific medication is unlike any over-the-counter remedy, and I have found it incredibly successful. I must take 2 capsules daily. I was also impressed since it has very few contraindications. I would advise any other potential patients to make certain they take it on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before ingesting any solid food."
