"I have been on lansoprazole 60 mg for about a month. Since being on it, I have lost 6 stone rapidly. I was just wondering if anyone who has been on it has had a nasty burning taste in their mouth that bothers the saliva when you swallow. It also affects my tongue and throat when eating, drinking, and brushing my teeth. I feel so ill, I would be grateful for any feedback. Please"

"I am currently taking lansoprazole to treat gastritis for a second time. The first time, I took the medication for a month, which seemed to clear my symptoms. After another flare-up, I am back on lansoprazole. So far, so good - the medication has been very effective. I have been suffering from constant bloating and stomach discomfort, and lansoprazole has massively reduced both."

"I’ve had gastritis before after an emotional and tragic event in my life. I was put on omeprazole, that did help, but this time after yet another event, gastritis has returned. I’ve been taking ranitidine 150 mg, but although it’s helped, my doctor has advised me to take lansoprazole 30 mg. I'm yet to get. I do have an endoscopy soon, last time they found grade 2 erosion."

"I have chronic non-erosive gastritis with a lot of symptoms like painful active burping, cramps, and so on. I was prescribed 30 mg of Lansoprazole. I have relief overall from my painful belching, but side effects of cramps, muscle vibrations, tiredness, headaches, and joint pain."
