For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have been using this for one day, and I already see a difference. I first had a yeast infection at the end of May. Treated it with Monistat 1, I guess it threw my pH off. So I had bacterial vaginitis right after that. Then my period. So I've been having a really terrible time, as you can imagine. So I have been using unscented soaps, bathing a lot, drying myself well, wearing cotton underwear. Until I discovered this L. acidophilus. I took 2 tablets (1 billion live bacteria) yesterday after noon. I felt okay. Still some odor and a little discharge. This morning, I took another dosage. Throughout the day, I haven't had little to no itching. Tonight, I took another dosage, and even my tenderness is going away. I also drink cranberry juice often. I'm feeling pretty good."

Lactobacillus acidophilus "My husband, 75, went through his own personal hell for 6 months, suffering from dry heaves, bowel problems, chest pains, unable to eat, and loss of 60 pounds. Lactobacillus acidophilus for Vaginal Yeast Infection "Get the probiotic acidophilus capsules (I buy from Dollar Tree). Then take a steamy hot shower. After that, open a few capsules and mix into a cream (I use a Monistat cream), making a paste. Apply to the poor hurting burning vag and then drink water. Lots of water. Swallow a few more capsules. Do this every day, and it will help."

For Clostridioides difficile Infection "I have had quite remarkable relief of severe bloating and sluggish bowel motility. This had continued for three full months without relief. I was even begging for surgery to find out what was wrong. My abdomen was so distended that my lung capacity (per spirometer) was 1/3 to 1/2 of normal, I got winded just climbing stairs at home, and I could not sing (I'm a choir director). I could not sit upright in a chair or car, and I felt about 10 1/2 months pregnant! I had been on antibiotics for several weeks before this problem started. Lactobacillus acidophilus "I love this stuff. I've been taking it for years just to keep regulated. As I got older, I started having chronic BV and abdominal pain. I'm not consistent in anything, but I know that every time I feel symptoms come on, I take 2 and instantly feel the pain ease away. By the morning, all smells are gone. I swear by this stuff. It does make you a little gassy, but I'll take gas over a smell any day. If you do experience gas, etc., just stop taking it for a day or 2!"

Lactobacillus acidophilus for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I recently started taking Jardiance for my diabetes, and immediately developed a yeast infection (a common side effect). I picked up an OTC treatment, which worked, but I wanted something that would work long term, so I invested in the slightly more expensive acidophilus, with the billion cultures (at CVS). I take one each day, but if it gets a bit itchy, I take another, and that gets my system back on track!"

For Diarrhea "I started taking Acidophilus, and it really works. You can't stop taking it because it truly works. I was constantly hurting, my entire body was hurting, and especially my stomach. My mom told me about the Acidophilus, and I recommend this if you're having stomach issues like acid reflux or GERD. It helped me, and I'm currently taking it. It's been a week now. It cleans your gut, it makes you flush out all that bad bacteria in your gut and everywhere else. My stomach feels so much better. I hate the diarrhea, but it has slacked up. I feel so much better. This is day 9 of taking the Acidophilus, and whoever came up with this product should be a millionaire because this stuff saved my life. My body feels better 100%."

Lactobacillus acidophilus for Vaginal Yeast Infection "I am a person who has suffered from constant yeast infections for a long time. If you stared too hard at me, I might catch one. Everything irritated me-body wash, jacuzzi water, or anything with a scent would have me right back in the doctor's office. I usually prefer Diflucan pills because they work, but I wanted to try a different route because even though Diflucan gets rid of the problem, it seems to always come back. I bought these pills from a local Walgreens, and I took one orally. It did make me feel a little weird, and I inserted one vaginally, but it did not hurt. Slight stinging every so often, but it's nothing major. I hope this works!"

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome "YES! L-Acidophilus is excellent for IBS, particularly for the weird, somewhat abstract and oblique stomach uncomfortableness. However, I find that taking two capsules 3 to 4 times a day (preferably on an empty stomach) is the best way. I use L-Acidophilus as an adjunct to my once-a-day regular, more comprehensive probiotic. Always store refrigerated."

Lactobacillus acidophilus "I've struggled with BV my whole life. I'm 30 years old, and I literally have no idea what a normal, healthy vagina is or smells like. I tried a woman's probiotic that also had acidophilus in it and took it for about a year with no relief. My underwear were always wet, and the amount of underwear that would get ruined from discharge was crazy. I ended up going to doctors again for BV, and this time fed up and leaving doctors so disappointed because once again the doctor gave me no help or answers, just said some girls have these issues. So I go to my dollar store, and I'm near the medicine, and I look up and a whole bottle of acidophilus is looking at me. I read up on it and it seems acidophilus is better than the other L. and R. ones. I'm not sure of their exact names. So I got it, and I haven't even seen it in a month, and already my underwear is dry, and for once in my life, no smell. Also, beware that some of these you need to put in the fridge after opening like mine because they lose potency if left out. But any brand acidophilus is gonna have..."
