For Head Lice "After finding live lice in my 10-year-old daughter's hair, I immediately went to buy an OTC product. Treated hair that evening, and twice daily I would painstakingly go through her hair, removing nits. Four days later, I found live lice (and yes, I followed the directions to the tee!). I retreated, but the next day my other daughter was scratching, she had lice too! I did the same treatment for her as well, but when I found that I had them as well, I called their pediatrician, and that's where Sklice came into the picture. He not only prescribed treatments for us, but for my two sons and husband as well. One treatment, and poof! No more lice!!! No more hours spent removing nits!! (Use a $25 coupon on the Sklice website!)"

For Head Lice "I've only had lice one other time, and I was a kid and don't really remember the pain of getting rid of it (although my mom will gladly remind me). This treatment was super simple. I used it on myself. I did choose to use the lice combs after I used this product (even though I didn't need to). Even though the treatment was only 10 minutes, all I combed out were dead bugs. It was very easy to use and smelled good. My hair was silky and shiny after using it."

For Head Lice "After dealing with lice for over a year (my daughter has very long black hair), numerous OTC treatments, as well as prescription treatments, nothing worked. I researched once again and came to the Sklice website, called my doctor, and had a prescription in 3 days. One time, 10 minutes, and VIOLA! No more lice. I am thankful that science is getting better at making a permanent solution to this hideous problem. I recommend it to anyone who has been dealing with lice."

For Head Lice "Do not use this medication on your children or anyone! My child lost all of her hair, and my other daughter lost half of her hair! Scabbing, sores! This product is very dangerous and should be pulled off the market! This damaged a little girl's life that will never recover, a year later, she still has almost no hair!"

For Head Lice "My daughter, who has extremely long, thick hair, kept getting head lice. I treated her 2 previous times the typical way: OTC meds, washing, scrubbing, boiling brushes. But she kept getting them. The 3rd time was it! I looked online and found Sklice. It was hard to find as most pharmacies around me don't carry it. I drove in a snowstorm 40 minutes away to get it! I applied it and haven't had a problem since... that was 4 years ago!"

For Head Lice "One of my kids had magical powers to attract lice every year since like clockwork. (Yay for us, don't be jealous.) So, the first time I did the OTC kit, laundry, vacuuming the mattresses, etc. A year later, I did the same but didn't get all of the nits. Those buggers are hard to find! Then a mom friend told me how Sklice paralyzes the nits and they CAN'T HATCH, so if I missed some, they couldn't hatch anyway. So YES, after the one ten-minute treatment, my kid still had nits in her hair, but they never hatched, and I picked them out as I found them without the anxiety of 'what if I miss one?' The third time she got lice, I went straight to the pediatrician for Sklice, and that took care of it."

For Head Lice "Fought these suckers for a year on and off with my kids. I tried vinegar and salt, Coca-Cola, olive oil, dollar store brand, Rid, and an expensive mousse. Kept coming back, so I got so aggravated and took them to the doc, he prescribed Sklice, and DONE. BOOM. NOTTA BUG ANYWHERE. Finally peace. Thank you, Sklice. One and done."

For Head Lice "I have been battling head lice with my two daughters for years and years and years. I have tried EVERYTHING. This last battle, which has lasted over a year, had me at my wit's end. Shaving was next. I finally had my doc phone in Sklice. BEST STUFF EVER, EVER, EVER!!!! You have saved my sanity and my beautiful girls' hair."

For Head Lice "I used Sklice on my daughter as per the doctor's recommendation to get rid of nits. I was happy at first since it was only a 10-minute treatment. I even saw the dead nits dropping out of her hair as I used a brush to blow-dry her hair! Two weeks later, the nits were back! The product said it wasn't necessary to comb out nits, so I didn't! Big mistake! I ended up taking her to a professional place that deals with lice and was told all nits must be combed out, dead or alive! The product was misleading. Exhausted and stressed out over this."

For Head Lice "I never wrote reviews on products, but for the sake of helping others, I will tell you that Sklice did work for us and our head lice. It is not abnormal to still be picking out eggs/nits daily for up to 2 weeks post-treatment, as long as you’re not still finding several every day. The nits I was seeing during combing a week after treatment would fall right out because they were dead and no longer sticking to the hair. That is what you WANT to see after treatment. I was vigilant and devoted to the combing process every night for two weeks afterward. I bought tea tree shampoo and conditioner to use from here on out. Also, coconut oil is a great detangler and is also a natural repellent. If you follow this treatment exactly the way it’s supposed to be done and you don’t fall behind on combing, it should be all gone in a week. While this is a huge nuisance and it’s terribly time-consuming and gross, it is harmless and they do not transmit disease."

For Head Lice "After three treatments of OTC failures, I used Sklice. I got a special brush from a beauty supply store used for coloring hair, $1.29, and separated hair like a beautician does to apply the product to small areas from scalp to ends. Started at the base of the neck and moved upwards to the top and front of the head. Took me over 2 hours to apply. Then put a shower cap on for 45 minutes. Used a nit comb to comb out the same way I applied. I found adults and tons of nits. Kept cleaning the nit comb with baby wipes in a ziplock bag for safe disposal. Total success. After days, I keep searching her hair and finding nothing. My cost was initially $351.52, minus an online coupon, my insurance resulted in a final out-of-pocket expense of $10.00. Great product."

For Head Lice "Get Sklice. Do not stop, call your Dr. and go straight to the pharmacy. This magical lotion is totally miraculous! No side effects, and it was gentle for 6-month-olds. I used it on my 2-year-old. Seriously, I honestly would have cut my girl's hair without it. This is the second time we've used it, and it kills bugs and nits. I comb all the nits out after to be 100% sure of no reoccurrence, but I think it works as is. It is very expensive, though, so use the Sklice coupon on the website and it's cheaper. You won't regret it. (Why don't more parents know about this? Sanofi, you need to be running advertising on this! Retarget lice searches!)"

For Head Lice "Two girls and I got it from school - UGH. Did Nix for 10 minutes (per package), and it didn't work. Called the nurse. Did Nix again the same day for 30 minutes. Two days later, they appeared again, so I called the doctor. Did Nix again for 2.5 hours (was told it never failed). 2.5 days later, they appeared again, so I called my other doctor. Did Sklice for 10 minutes (per package), and we are now entering day 7 after Sklice treatment, and we are looking good. I have been REALLY vigilant about looking for nits, too. We check everyone very well each morning - I do NOT want this back! What a nightmare. I've changed the beds every day for 12 days straight to help ensure no occurrence and bagged anything that wasn't nailed down. Expensive, but worth it."

For Head Lice "It worked! My hair is waist length. I did have a friend comb through my hair one time after treatment with a nit comb, but that's it. I used Sklice on my granddaughter, who had lice to begin with and gave it to me. I did comb and pick all the nits out, but I never found a live bug after using Sklice. It's been about 2-3 weeks now. Still bug and nit free! Wish I had used this first!"

For Head Lice "100% pleased with Sklice. When it was time to wash out, dead bugs came out, and a week later, haven't seen anything else. Very sticky, just like glue, so start at the scalp! I also combed through because it's so sticky to ensure it got everywhere."

For Head Lice "One of my students has had chronic lice last school year and again this school year. I have provided OTC lice shampoo several times and have sent the child home weekly with live head lice. Each time the child is sent home, the child has returned with no live head lice but still having nits. (Our school is not a no-nit school.) Each week, the child would have live lice again and have to be sent home. I found the article about the FDA releasing Sklice and printed the information for the parent of the student with chronic lice. The student came to me yesterday, and I found dead lice in the child's hair. I discussed this with the child's mother, who said she used the Sklice as directed. So far, so wonderful!"

For Head Lice "After speaking with the doctor, they advised that I could comb out the nits after using this product, but that both had used it with success and no comb. Instructions for the product say to leave it in for at least 10 minutes. I stuck my seven-year-old naked in the bathroom and let him play in an empty bathtub with some plastic toys after completely covering his head in the product. After the hour, I washed his head thoroughly with Ivory bar soap. I then proceeded to vacuum all of the floors, strip and wash all of the bedding in the entire house, all of the towels, and all of the clothes that weren't in the dresser. Spray the couches liberally with Lysol (enough that they are damp). Every single stuffed animal also went through. No more lice!"

For Head Lice "My youngest daughter came down with lice 3 years ago from my sitter's daughter. Needless to say, by the time I found out, my other daughter and I had it too. The pediatrician advised trying over-the-counter drugs 3 times first. After spending over $500, I got a prescription for Sklice (not covered by insurance then). It cleared up the first try. Best product and worth the $300 paid. I thought I was leery and left some items (stuffed animals to pillows) in bags for over a year. Now, 3 years later, once again my youngest daughter has caught it as she will not wear her hair up due to sensory issues. Had the doctor prescribe without trying anything else. With a coupon this time, I paid $10 instead of $59 a tube (my co-pay)! Now praying for good results again."

For Head Lice "2nd time in 14 months my daughter has lice. Used Rid. Day 2 small live lice appeared. Possibly hatched overnight. Called the pediatrician, and day 2 got a script for Sklice. With coupon & insurance, paid $10. I was so hopeful this was the answer to our prayers. My daughter has very long hair & takes hours to nit-pick. I even use a magnifier lamp light to check her head, which I highly recommend! Sklice is supposed to kill nits. My older daughter has a microscope and did a little science experiment: out of about 15 nits, 6 were still alive. I have checked her hair daily for 7 days since using Sklice and vacuumed & laundered everything (more than once), and day 7 found a live louse on her head! Retreated with Rid and cleaned again! Disappointed with Sklice."

For Head Lice "'Treated daughter as directed with Sklice, and 5 days later, live lice reappeared. Disappointed to say the least after washing bedding, putting away stuffed animals, etc. Any health care provider I talked to about the re-occurrence said that you MUST comb out the nits even though the Sklice directions and website advertise that no combing is needed. Feel greatly misled. But that was not the problem because in addition I did nit comb every time. This has been the 4th time doing this at $200 a treatment (Yes, one-time use per tube). Wow, is Sklice getting over on us. Seems Sklice owes me some money back. It does not work...."

For Head Lice "We had tried everything. With the OTC treatment products, lice were still alive after use, and we still had to comb. We came close to eradicating this way, but very time-consuming, and then I think my daughter caught them at school again! It's been about 2 months now with this product, and I am pretty sure we are still all clear. This stuff killed the live ones immediately. Although the product supposedly doesn't require nit combing, I wasn't taking any chances. Not sure if the ones that I picked out were dead or alive, but at least this product gave us a fighting chance with the infestation. I would use it again (though it doesn't look as if I'll have to). Expensive, but your time and sanity are worth it."

For Head Lice "Wow! It worked great. So easy to use, and my kids' hair looked and smelled awesome afterward. For me, it was worth the copay on my insurance. Other moms I talked to had such a hard time with nits. I'm so glad I called the doc!"
