Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have a one-month sample of Trelegy Ellipta. I took it for three days and felt an immediate improvement in my lung functioning. Then I started having what I thought were temporary adverse reactions to Trelegy. When they got worse, I went to urgent care, and the treating doctor said I have a virus not caused by Trelegy. Tests for Covid, pneumonia, and flu were negative. I’m not convinced. I hope he’s right and I’m wrong, but today I hope to see my pulmonologist to get his opinion."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Started with Ellipta 100 and it worked great, but was increased to 200 when I had a compression fracture and was having lots of shortness of breath. Was great for a while, but it seems like it isn't helping now. I want to go back to 100 or try something new. Had back surgery 4 weeks ago."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I was given Trelegy by the pulmonary office to try, it was a sample. I was diagnosed 5 years ago with severe COPD. I would swear that this is a miracle drug. When I first used it, I didn't expect much, but it actually worked. Now I found out that Medicaid won't pay for it. I'm now on oxygen 24/7. I realize that it's expensive, but if you can't breathe, I suggest finding a way to get it."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Trelegy Ellipta (TE) works as described and certainly helps me live a more active life, however... I have concerns with the apparent similarities between TE's 'side-effects' and the actual symptoms of COPD; 'shortness of breath', wheezing. Do I suffer from side-effects or under/over medical treatment? I will be discussing this with my GP shortly and hope to better understand the difference between side-effects and the common symptoms of COPD."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "After being diagnosed with COPD, I was put on a rescue inhaler and was having to rely on it too often, when my doctor placed me on the Trelegy. I have used Trelegy for a year now, and I have only had to resort to the rescue inhaler on three occasions. For me, breathing is easier with Trelegy."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Life changing. No wheezing, coughing only after one week of use, 3 years ago. Have had some palpitations at times, plus now throbbing in the neck that may be a thyroid problem. I can exercise and walk long distances without coughing and wheezing. Do have more problems with my arthritis. Hope not onset of osteoporosis."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I was a heavy smoker for 30-plus years, very stupid! I was unable to breathe on cold mornings while walking, and exercise was difficult. Since taking Trelegy Ellipta every morning for about 3 years, my tests are almost normal, and I can move about without any problems. My lung specialist is also overly impressed with my recovery. It has worked wonders for me, just make sure to rinse the mouth thoroughly after inhaling to prevent mouth irritation."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have just started with this medication, and I find it good. It's nice to only have one inhaler to take. So far, so good. The only problem seems to be getting my tongue coated when I inhale. I use one puff a day."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Changed from Advair to Trelegy Ellipta and found it to be a superior and more effective product for me. The only side effect was a runny nose for an hour post-inhaling. Cost 50% more, and I find that unfortunately almost unbearable."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "It has helped me the last 3 years, I also use an inhaler when I need it. When I go to higher altitude, I now have to use oxygen. It’s easy to use, the benefits have been awesome, just wished they would help longer."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have been taking Trelegy Ellipta for 2 years, and it has helped me so much. Unfortunately, it is way too expensive, and I can no longer afford it. I am now having to find a new medication for myself."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have diabetes. When I use Trelegy Ellipta, my blood sugar rockets high. It has caused it to go to over 400 and 500. If you are diabetic, be very careful when taking this medication. I can't say it doesn't work because it helps me breathe much better. I just can't handle the blood sugar spike."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I changed from using Dulera and Spiriva daily and switched to Trelegy Ellipta for the past 6 months. For the first month, I noticed an increase in breathing and felt better. Didn't use my nebulizer much at all. Now, I seem to be running out of breath much more. I have had some dizziness and feeling bound up a lot. Why great at the beginning and now not so much?"

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "While this medicine is helpful, it is prohibitively expensive! They charge insurance co. $725.00/month, and I have to pay $121.41/month! Additionally, one inhaler stopped working with 14 days left! Too much for an elder on a fixed income. I am going to try another type of inhaler. I was on Breo prior to Trelegy, and while I feel Trelegy more effectively assists my breathing, I cannot continue to throw $ away on useless dispensers!"

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Trelegy has been a lifesaver for me. It turned my life around! I was able to make it to a car or building (depending on whether I was coming or going). I didn't collapse in the middle of a Walmart and wait until I could breathe well enough to make it to the car."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Trelegy is a game changer. After 6 years of undiagnosable breathing issues with excessive mucus and a recent double whammy of bronchitis with pneumonia, a second CT scan revealed COPD. The pulmonologist gave me a sample of Trelegy 200, and it changed my life. The mucus is still present but nowhere near the amount prior. I can breathe better, but deep breaths will elicit a cough with mucus. I have a headache and sore throat in the mornings, but that is a small price compared to not being able to breathe and being congested. I use the Trelegy 100 now, and it works just as well. I am 58, looks like no more long runs are in my future, but I can walk 2.5 miles most mornings, and that is a start."

I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Trelegy! So, to the makers of Trelegy, a big thank you!!! Give it a try, it just might be the wonder drug for you. Worked for me. Good luck!"

"Trelegy has been amazing to me. I have had 3 major lung surgeries, and I am not even 40. I started with Advair, and it worked for about a month. They added Spiriva with my Advair, and that worked about a month, but I had to take it 2 more months so my insurance would pay for it since it is a very expensive inhaler. I have been on Trelegy for 9 months now, and it is amazing. I haven't had to be hospitalized once since taking it. On occasion, I have to take my rescue inhaler, but it isn't often. This inhaler is awesome."

"Very good response to this medication. I had been using multiple inhalers, and it was getting ridiculous. I was put on this after an acute flare-up of chronic bronchitis. It does not replace the rescue inhaler, but I could tell after the first dose that it was going to be beneficial to me. The copay with insurance was $167, but I was able to use the coupon card. I'm hoping I can continue to use that going forward. These meds are so expensive!"

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "My doctor put me on Trelegy. I also am having nasty side effects because my sats are 98. They are not believing how breathless I am feeling. I had an allergic reaction to all inhalers. The only inhaler I haven't had is Advair. Without treatment, I keep getting infections."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "I have COPD and have been using Trelegy for a few years. About a year ago, I was diagnosed with Valley Fever and was treated with Fluconazole to fight the fungus. CT scans show it isn't working. Could the fungal warnings using Trelegy be affecting the effectiveness of the Fluconazole?"

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Trelegy has significantly improved my symptoms concerning COPD. It seems to slow the progression of COPD which is very important to me. I would recommend Trelegy to those suffering from COPD. I do hope the cost comes down further for those not covered by a drug plan."

Fluticasone / umeclidinium / vilanterol "Worked great the first year, no infections. Then it changed. Now constantly sick. Have COPD with asthma overlap. Very hard to inhale this, at times it clumps in your mouth. It is extremely expensive. I also had an extreme rash on my hands, cortisone cream, and finally Prednisone keeps it under control."
