For Allergic Rhinitis "Yes, it does cause anxiety. Like the many users, even I took 3 months to find out that this is what caused me to go to mental health and have me all the issues: anxiety, insomnia, increased BP at night after I took it. When I went to the doctor, my BP showed normal in the morning, and my doctor thought I was losing my mind - till one day last week I figured it was Flonase."

For Allergic Rhinitis "To say Flonase is dangerous is an understatement. I developed trigeminal neuralgia from using it. If you Google for a long time and look very carefully, you will find an FDA study showing they know this is a possible side effect! No one should use this. GSK should discontinue making this. I can't express how negatively this drug has affected my life and how much pain it is still causing me. Please beware of using this."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I took Flonase for a few days in a row, and it has now been 3 months since I’ve been off of it, and I am still struggling. It has turned my life upside down. I’ve had anxiety, depression, weird debilitating headaches, strange skin sensations, neurological problems such as tremors, vibrations, severe burning skin all over, hot flashes, cold chills, weakness, dizziness, nausea, numbness, tingling, blurred vision, and uncoordinated movements. This all started when I took Flonase several days in a row. In the past, I had taken it about once a month, so I didn’t notice the side effects as badly. The anxiety and depression have eased up a lot, and the headaches are a little less frequent. The burning feeling is still terrible. I still get very weak, and the skin sensations are still there. It feels like I’m swollen all over, even though there’s no visible swelling. Warn everyone you know about this."

For Rhinitis "Have used Flonase for the last year - I used to have to take a decongestant that still left me stuffy, and Flonase alone is the best! I would be so stuffy at night, couldn't breathe through my nose, and this works! Love it."

For Rhinitis "Took this for two days for dizziness. The first day it worked, but the second day it didn’t do anything. My anxiety was through the roof, I had heart palpitations, and my speech was off, along with using my hands to talk, which is not normal for me. It felt like I was on drugs, which I found embarrassing."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I took it for a little over a week. I thought it may need a week for it to set in. It didn't stop my allergies at all, in fact, it worsened shortly after use. I had light nausea and heavy migraines shortly after taking it every day. I stopped taking it because it was ineffective and due to the side effects. I've had allergies for almost a year. I'm going to try something else (Alavert). Claritin, Allegra, Flonase, Equate, Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Nasonex have all failed me so far."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Since childhood, I've had intense seasonal allergies. They get so bad that my throat itches terribly, my nose runs profusely, then it clogs up completely. Worst of all is how bad my eyes get red and tear up and itch and hurt all the time. It's a nightmare allergy-wise living in South Texas because of the cedar pollen. I did some research and saw that Flonase is a type of cortical steroid, so I bought some. Kenalog 40 shots have always been my savior, but since I lost my insurance, I'm stuck with OTC. Tried Flonase as per the instructions. Within days, every allergy symptom but my itchy red and runny eyes went away. I waited two weeks, but no relief for my eyes. After doubling the dosage, my eyes cleared up, and now I'm allergy-free. Flonase rocks!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I suffered from a stuffy nose, headaches, and ears aching for 3-4 years. Numerous sinus infections, antibiotics, and visits to the doctor and ENT. Nasocort didn't do much, Flonase works! I was hesitant at first as I don't like taking meds-side effects, allergic reactions, etc. My experience has been great, it's worth trying if you have tried other things. It's safe and effective. Side note: 2 years ago, we installed a humidifier in our furnace system to keep moisture levels up. GAME changer! No sinus infections since. Best of luck. Be safe and give it a try."

For Nasal Polyps "I tried several different nasal sprays, all of them did nothing but worsen my problem. Eventually, I discovered the Flonase nasal spray in 2015, and in the first use, it worked for me in my best remembering."

For Rhinitis "I was getting nasal infections every 3 months that would last for weeks without treatment. I'd go in and get antibiotics, and within a week, it'd clear up. Then another 3 months later, I'd get another infection. UNTIL I started using this spray! As long as I continue to use it, I don't get nose infections. And it smells like flowers, which I like. :)"

For Rhinitis "Flonase is the best! I suffered from horrible nighttime congestion. This medicine is a miracle. No more waking up all night unable to breathe with a horrible headache and feeling like a zombie for half the day! No side effects at all for me. Only downside is the expense without insurance. Wish they had a cheap generic version."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase is possibly okay for intermittent use if your nose is completely clogged. I do NOT recommend this for daily use, as ENT's and Dr.'s suggest. The more I used this, the more migraines and daily headaches I got. I started feeling better not using Flonase and told a Dr. this, and he told me to keep using it. So I started using it again, and back came the debilitating migraines. Horrible ones for which nothing worked and for which I had to miss work. Will never go back to this. Nasal rinse only. Giving it 3 stars for the occasional use only."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase has greatly improved my life! My nasal allergies were terrible, even with taking an Allegra every day. I had to carry Kleenex with me everywhere. Mornings were the worst - I would sit with my coffee in one hand and a tissue in the other. It was miserable. After becoming tired of feeling awful every day, I paid a visit to the allergist, who prescribed Flonase. Within a week, I was feeling 100% better. No more itchy, runny nose. No more post-nasal drip. I used to get a constant tickle in my throat, which I never believed was caused by post-nasal drip, but evidently it was, because that is also gone! I love this."

For Allergic Rhinitis "As a lifelong seasonal allergy sufferer, I search for something that won't put me to sleep, won't cause side effects with other medications I can afford. For most of my life, I've taken plain old Sudafed with an aspirin from mid-February, when the early bulbs start to bloom, until after Thanksgiving, when pollen finally is gone. Last year, my daughter, who has similar symptoms, tried Flonase with great success. For me, the 'Hottest Year Ever-2015' was also my worst ever year with allergies, I have all the symptoms from watery eyes, runny nose, coughing, sneezing, etc., etc., etc. I've been using it for 4 days, starting with 2 times a day, then once a day, and my symptoms seem to be going away!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have developed allergies (pollen?) in the last 2 years. Go figure, I'm in my 50s. My eyes get itchy, red, and watery, and I scratch my eyelids and eyes so much. This irritates them, and the eyelid gets raw. I finally tried Flonase from a doctor. I got jittery and anxious. After a few days, the roof of my mouth got raw, sore, and painful. I did not rinse my mouth every time after use. Maybe I should have. It was destroying my skin on the roof of my mouth. I will never use Flonase again, I threw it away."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have experienced outdoor/seasonal allergies all my life in fluctuating intensities. Sometimes I can go without meds, and then suddenly I'm so sneezy, itchy, watery, runny, and congested that I can hardly function. It's like a never-ending flu! So, I bought Flonase, fully aware that the relief wouldn't be instant. It took a day or two (literally), and I immediately had absolutely no congestion. I admit that I still sneeze and get a slight runny nose now and then, but it was bearable compared to a Flonase-less reaction to pollen. The main con that I have a problem with is that I've been using Flonase for over a month, and I have experienced absolutely no relief for my dry, itchy (sometimes watery) eyes! Pros: my other symptoms are gone."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Have used many allergy pills, but nothing works like Flonase. The only problem is when switching to generic, it stopped working for me. I thought I was immune after 2 years, but it was the 'generic' that failed me. I've gone back to regular Flonase."

For Rhinitis "I have vasomotor rhinitis, and this is the best drug for me. When I'm off of it for a few days, I can feel my nasal passages swelling, and I get an awful headache. Before being on this, I took decongestants/antihistamines, and I still had postnasal drip and stuffiness and a lot of headaches. With this drug, I feel like a normal person most of the time. The only downside is that I get more thirsty than normal, but I just constantly carry water with me."

For Allergic Rhinitis "This was taken daily, caused increased appetite, cravings, and rapid weight gain. Gained 70 lbs in 2 years, all can be contributed to months where taking this was a constant daily with Allegra. Once both were discontinued, weight gain stopped, and was able to lose weight. When both continued (as per Dr.), weight gain began again despite dieting, exercise plus having an active job and am not sedentary. Both corticosteroid nasal sprays and antihistamines have been studied separately and shown to cause weight gain, yet neither drug lists it as a side effect. If obesity runs in your family, STAY AWAY! Additionally, it did NOT help my allergy to mold. I still have chronic post-nasal drip and congestion. I still got severe hay fever 6x last year despite taking these drugs nearly daily."

For Rhinitis "I just bought this spray for the first time yesterday, and it's already working! Allegra NEVER helped with any of my symptoms (runny, itchy, stuffy nose, itchy watery eyes, and sneezing). It doesn't burn either, like Rx sprays I've used in the past that cost $100. This was only $18.00 at Safeway for the 120 spray dose (0.54 oz). Yes, it does smell like the light scent of flowers in your nose, but it doesn't sting or burn! Yaaaay! Thank you, Flonase, I love you!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Used it for a few months, once every morning. Works great to stop the allergies throughout the day. I've definitely not had the debilitating problems that come through now and again as if I caught a cold, and this definitely stops that from happening. But the piercing headaches are bad after a few minutes, so I have to take ibuprofen to get through it. Then, I am OK through the day, mostly, I can function. But after a while, a couple of months, my whole body started to feel numb. Can't feel my back, arms, legs, hands, feet, shoulders, and numb in a way that I am not able to perform athletically. If I get hurt, twist a wrist, or pull a muscle, I can feel those kinds of things, but for coordination, I felt detached, weak, awful, angry, annoyed."

For Rhinitis "I had a cold that triggered some bad allergies. Constant sneezing, runny nose, one side of my nose constantly clogged, that awful itchy feeling in my nose that wouldn't go away. After my first dose of Flonase, I didn't sneeze even once for the rest of the day! I am so pleased with the results. I'm on day 2 and have not had any noticeable side effects. In regard to another review that said that the 60-dose doesn't give you the full amount due to the 'priming' sprays - in the little booklet that comes with it, it says that they account for priming sprays in the dosage. So you aren't wasting any product by properly priming it."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase has changed my life. I developed a sinus infection a week before my cruise to the Bahamas and knew I couldn’t go like that. My sinus infections typically last 5-7 days. I would take Benadryl, Zyrtec, Sinex, Mucinex, and use Vick’s Vapor Rub. I also used the Vick’s Vapor Rub steam inhaler. It would only give me temporary relief! I would never try nasal sprays. I didn’t want to put anything in my nose. I finally tried Flonase and Hallelujah!!!! It wasn’t immediate, but it worked. I tried it at 11:30 p.m. and at 6 a.m. I all of a sudden started breathing normally and have not had any issues or side effects! It was such a major breakthrough for me! It is definitely going with me on my cruise!"

For Rhinitis "Took a week to fully unplug my nose. After a month of use with 1x a day of one spray per nostril, I lost my sense of smell. I am now on day 3 of not taking it, feel pretty tired, not feeling well. Hoping those feelings will pass and I get my sense of smell back. Currently, my nose is still unplugged. If it weren’t for the smell thing, I’d give this a perfect 10 for clearing a stuffed-up nose."

For Rhinitis "Flonase does nothing for my vasomotor rhinitis. After taking it for 2 weeks, I felt chronic fatigue for several months. I tried it again, had the same problem. Drugs aren't always the answer, there must be a better solution. I grow tired of my ailment after 7 years of it."
