"I was prescribed Accrufer after complaining that my other supplement hurt my stomach. Accrufer is gentler on my stomach, although, since I get heartburn, it may seem a bit hard to swallow, but the coating is softer. Since I need iron more than most, I do take it 2-3 times a day depending on the "day". It is supposed to be taken without food, so since I take it with other supplements as well, I am not sure if the bloating and gas is from the Accrufer or another supplement."
