"Took this for 2 days. Horrible cramps in my stomach and my back. Bloating and diarrhea. I have colitis so I am very sensitive to medicine. So I will be trying the natural way and increase my brown rice, eat more salmon, oatmeal etc and see if that helps."

TriCor (fenofibrate) "Tricor did nothing for me alone which is 145mg of fenofibrate. After taking Vascepa alone and having some success, the doctor added 160 mg of fenofibrate and I said I would try it to appease him. It actually did help to lower my triglycerides significantly."

"Was placed on this for Hypercholesterolemia, incidentally my triglycerides were high as well. Can't really say if this has helped or not. I suspect another medication, Abilify, was responsible for the Hypercholesterolemia and high triglycerides. I quit the Abilify and the last time I had my levels checked I was told I was normal. Again, can't say if this has helped...can't say it hasn't."
