"Very good experience I had tried many other pills and this is the only one that doesn't upset my stomach, I was so happy about that because I have gastritis, also my mood stabilized which was the main reason I was put on this medicine because I have extreme PMS. I gained 4lbs the first 2 weeks but I watched what I was eating and went back to normal weight, no extra pimples, some blood in the middle of the cycle and tender breast. Overall good"

"I'm prone to very painful, heavy periods and this birth control made them much lighter. My cramps were still bad, and my periods got longer (from 2-3 days to 4-5) but much lighter. The best thing about this medicine for me is that it's extremely easy to regulate when/if you get your period while taking it. I didn't experience any weight gain or unusual breakouts, and now after 3 months of use I'm noticing my skin is clearing up nicely. This is the only pill I've tried but so far I'm happy with it."

"I have been on Sprintec for almost 3 months, and I hate it. My breasts feel like rocks or punching bags all the time. My period was almost a week late. eventually it started (my period) and now I'm still bleeding almost two weeks later with dryish blood clots, I'm scared this will trigger that thing that tampons do because they are dry and could get stuck, maybe I'm paranoid. But this pill makes me nauseating after about 22 hours after taking it, so I had to stop taking the pill in the morning. I'm switching as soon as I can!!! With PCOS I've been freaked out with the long bleeding and dry blood clots."

"I wouldn’t recommend Sprintec to my worst enemy. I was originally on MonoNessa which worked AMAZING but due to the pharmacy temporarily running out, they put me on Sprintec, telling me it’s the same thing. IT IS NOT THE SAME THING! A week after taking Sprintec I started throwing up and had diarrhea for two days straight. After that, it’s been nothing but downhill. At least once a week I’ll start having a two day period of throwing up and diarrhea. I had bad headaches, bad mood swings and I was constantly tired and weak. I was put on Sprintec to help regulate my periods, (I am not sexually active). They gave me a 3 month supply, but I refuse to take it anymore and I am switching back to MonoNesaa. Worst pill I’ve been on!"

"My Dr put me on this for heavy periods and to help regulate me until I have a hysterectomy. (I have PCOS) I have been on it 4 weeks and had a fairly heavy period two of that. It has made my anemia worse. (I'm supplementing with iron, which kills my stomach) I feel sluggish, even while on adipex and following a strict keto diet. I have stopped losing weight, which was flying off prior to the sprintec. My mood is horrible, I hate to be around everyone, which is detrimental to my job. My migraines have increased severity and occurrences. I've had three this past month, after going 1 year without them with treatment. It has definitely NOT worked in my favor. I don't recommend this BC at all!"

"I am going on my third pack and I will say so far this has been God sent for me! I struggle with severe cramps (which interrupted my day to day activities), heavy bleeding, and my periods could last up to 7 days. The past two periods have only been 4 days, extremely light (compared to running through super plus tampons every other hour), and my cramps are no where near what I was experiencing prior to using this pill (I would go over the recommended dosage for OTC meds because the cramps were so severe and non stop). I would recommend this pill based on my experience so far, but it is best to keep in mind everyone's body will respond differently."

"After years and years of having the worst unbearable "I want to kill myself" cramps a doctor put me on Sprintec. Promising that it'll stop my periods. Meaning no more pain. I'd only have one period every three months. WRONG!!! Each month I prepared myself for not having a period. And sure enough here it was! When it wasn't suppose to be. Sure it made the cramps bearable. Now! I had a period for February 2017. Okay. Fine. Not two weeks later here's another period. I'm aggravated. NOW not even FOUR days after that last period I have ANOTHER ONE! And I wonder why I'm dizzy and sick! I'm not taking that crap anymore!"

"This pill is not for me. I did not miss it once since I started. After being on it for 3 weeks I started bleeding. It's over a week and I am bleeding continuously. My period usually lasts for 5 days so this is for sure not my period. It is extremely frustrating!! I wish someone would have warned me about this side effect."

"I have been on sprintec for ten years. It has been amazing for regulating my period, it helped acne some (I get a few break outs here and there but mostly when it’s time for my period), and it’s done well to protect me from pregnancy. But 3-4 years ago my period started skipping for a month at a time (I take the placebo pills) but then comes back the next month when it’s supposed to. 1-2 years ago my period started to skip 3-4 months at a time. Recently I didn’t have a period for 3 months, and bleeding started on the 4th day of my placebo week, and I have continued to bleed for over 20 days now, into the active pills. I am so upset that I am having these problems with Sprintec now. My OBGYN told me to double up on my active pills until I see her, which I am scared to do because everything I have read says to stop taking them for a week to stop the bleeding."

"Was on Sprintec for 5 years and I had no issues. Had a year gap between taking it again. This time it made my period last for weeks with extreme cramping and super heavy blood clots that stained everything I wore multiple times. I am hoping it will be back on track after the second month of continually taking it."

"I was initially taking Estarylla the first month I started taking birth control, which was a month ago. I had no period, no cramps, no complaints. I skipped the placebo to continue not having a period. When I went for a refill, I was given Sprintec. I was told they were the same. I started taking the Sprintec with no break. This whole month I’ve bled so heavy every day. I’ve had to switch to depends instead of pads and tampons. I’ve been bleeding and clotting. I stopped taking it 5 days ago. I’m not taking it anymore. My period is regular normally. No more than 5 days. On time every month. This has been a nightmare. I’ve miscarried before.. this is more than I bled when that happened."

"I was 14 when my doctor put me on this garbage for extreme periods (3+ weeks of bleeding) and if anything my periods got worse after being on this. It also gave me CONSTANT cramps. I would have cramps every single day and when I was on my period they were just way worse. I was taking way too many ibuprofen a day and they eventually stopped working for me. No other pain killer could even put a dent in the pain from these cramps. The only thing that helped was my left over vicodin from surgery. I was 100 lbs and taking high doses of vicodin just to go to school. Doctor made me continue to take it for 6 months despite horrible pain. Nothing changed. Thankfully off it now please don't take this drug it is awful."

"DO NOT TAKE THIS PILL. I bled & cramped for MONTHS, I would cry and beg my doctor to help make it stop but it still continued. The only thing that helped was stopping the pill completely!!! After stopping this pill my periods returned to normal and the side affects went away in about a month!! 0/10!!!!!!"

"If I could rate this -10 out of 10 I would. I am not a fan of birth control due to the synthetic hormones being horrible for your body. I only took this pill because it was recommended at the clinic after a pregnancy scare. I started on a Sunday instead of waiting for my period and I had really heavy bleeding and bad cramps. I got through the first week and 2 days of week 2 and stopped taking it. Hopefully the bleeding stops soon it’s kind of an inconvenience. I’ll just stick to no birth control."

"I took Sprintec for a month because I experience abnormally painful period cramps and it was awful. I had PURPLE blood for three weeks straight and still had horrible period cramps the entire time. Apparently, purple blood is a sign of too much estrogen being produced in your body so if you have a condition where you don't produce enough estrogen or something along those lines then maybe this would be a better fit for you. I, however, will be switching birth controls."

"This is the first time I take birth control consistently. It’s about to be 4 months. I was supposed to try it just for 3 to regulate bleeding during ovulation. I keep using it because it cleared out my abnormal spotting and my periods are way better. Lighter and more steady not too light or too heavy like I was previously experiencing. I did noticed I’m more emotional and makes me very depressed at least twice a month. I was already on Fluoxetine (anxiety/depression) medicine before I got on birth control and I was very stable. I blame this birth control for my mood swings. I also just started gaining weight and feel very bloated. I have a sweet tooth constantly which I didn’t really had before. Considering to stop taking it after this pack it’s done."

"When I had my surprise baby 3 and 4 (twins)over 2 years ago, I got my tubes removed, so I did NOT use this as a birth control. I was given sprintec to treat my "dysfunctional uterine bleeding" (such a basic non-descriptive diagnosis) after getting a heavy, bright red "period" 10 days early, that I had been dealing with for 9 days when I was out on this medication. The doctor told me to take three of these a day until bleeding stops. Well, we're on day 5 and the bleeding has gotten worse, cramps have gotten worse, horrible mood swings, feeling like I haven't slept in weeks, constipation (which I've only had a handful of times in my life), increased acne, I smell weird, and other symptoms I can't even think of right now. I don't know if it works to prevent pregnancy, but I don't feel like it helps the disfunctional bleeding in the time frame the doctor had said it would (48 hours on average)."
