For Birth Control "I switched to the Milli pill after weeks of bleeding on Tri Sprintec. The switch did help regulate my periods however the entirety of the 3 months I was on it were literal hell. My sex drive has been demolished and I am constantly on edge about everything. I became so overwhelmed and stressed out that it nearly ruined my relationship. Intense crying, screaming, and just general unhappiness. All of which would lessen on the off week during my period so it took me a cycle or two to realize the hormones were the cause. I had been on Tri Sprintec for a year and a half before Milli and have never experienced such awful mood swings. I also gained 10-15 pounds rapidly within a months time. That combined with the depressive episodes was bad for my self esteem. This pill has made me want to stop my birth control journey entirely."

For Birth Control "Oh my goodness I swear this birth control is terrible, terrible and I’m not exaggerating. Before I took Mili, I was originally taking Mononessa but then it got discontinued and I went on Estarylla (they are all suppose to be generics of each other - same hormones, same strengths). When I took Mili though my acne went crazy and went back to skin before I ever started birth control. The main reason why I take birth control is for my hormonal acne and oh boy I would never ever recommend Mili. The anxiety and bit of depression I got after having to suffer crazy breakouts again was disheartening to see. I literally had a new breakout everyday I was on Mili. But now after being 3 months it’s kind of improved but I’m still not happy at all with my skin. Mili ruined my skin once again"

For Birth Control "I have taken Sprintec and Previfem for years without too many side effects. I have never had any issues with cramps or heavy painful period and haven’t experienced that with Mili or any of the other brands. The pharmacy was out of the my usual so they gave me Mili, which I have never previously taken. I haven’t experienced anything unusual except the increased anxiety. With previfem the week before I would get my period I would be slightly emotionally but that would go away as soon as I started the placebo pills. However with Mili I feel anxious more often and had a few anxiety attacks which I haven’t had in years. Some other reviews said the anxiety faded after a few months so I’m going to give it another month. If it doesn’t help I’m going call the doctor and switch."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Mili for about 6 months now after switching from Junel and the Junel off brands. Junel made me incredibly angry, mood swings, depressed. I didn’t recognize myself. I decided to switch to help my acne but the change to Mili helped a lot of other things. Mili made my boobs fuller which is kinda cool, and my appetite decreased. This helped me lose weight and get fit because I could focus on cleaner eating when I wasn’t hungry all the time like on Junel. I fixed my eating disorder. Mili does give me a heavier flow on my placebo days, nausea if I take it on an empty stomach, and more cramps on placebo week than Junel. The first couple months were brutal because my body was getting used to the new hormones. I stuck it out and feel comfortable on it now. I have my placebo week every 2-3 months and don’t have many other issues with it. Now at the 6-month mark, I feel way less moody, less angry, and look more “feminine” because of the increased estrogen in this pill."

For Birth Control "I took this medicine for a few months and had the WORST anxiety I have ever had - and I never had anxiety before taking this. It also made me extremely nauseous and feel like I was going to faint all the time. I wouldn’t recommend this medication to ANYONE. I’ve been off for 3 weeks and I am slowly starting to feel like myself again."

For Birth Control "Mili is not the worst birth control. With this birth control my acne has cleared up a lot but on the other hand my cramps have been really bad. I’ve been having migraines and I’m spotting everyday. Nonstop for the past week and it’s only my second week taking it. Definitely a no go for me."

For Birth Control "Never had any crazy side effects from this, no bleeding, no spotting, but I would get more of an increased appetite which is helpful for someone like myself taking Adderall. It helps balance out my hunger because Adderall makes you not hungry, and this birth control does give me that appetite I need. I have taken it for years. 2 months ago I had refilled my Mili tablets online; however, instead of giving me my regular Mili tablets that I am used to, Walgreens has instead decided to give me another birth control for my refill called ESTARYLLA. Since taking this new birth control I HATE it! Now I’m spotty, and I’m not hungry now even without taking Adderall. I have absolutely no appetite, so now I am on here reviewing this birth control because it makes me realize how grateful I am for what Mili tablets have done for me throughout the years compared to this new birth control! With Mili tablets, the PROS are I have not had really any bad side effects, the pill is small, so it’s easy to swallow."

For Birth Control "Mixed feelings, it greatly improved my skin and didn't make me gain weight which was great. However it did not help my bleeding, by the 4th month I had my period for 16 days. In addition, it made me feel anxious and not myself (as someone who doesn’t suffer from anxiety or depression this was incredibly unusual). I noticed within the 2nd week of getting off of it my sex drive increased."

For Birth Control "I only used Mili for just about two months and I gained over 20 pounds, I had just switched from Sprintec that helped me lose over 100 pounds the year prior. The mood swings and aches are terrible, if you are thinking about trying this I suggest anything else. Cheap though."

For Birth Control "I was incredibly worried about starting this BC due to all the negative reviews. Like a lot of other people here, I got switched from Sprintec to Mili. I have been taking Sprintec for 10+ years so I was leery about trying the generic brand, especially seeing everyone's bad experiences with it. I am pleasantly surprised with Mili. I have had NONE of the bad side effects aside from a bit of manageable acne. I think Mili has actually improved my mood - my depression is doing much better on this BC than on Sprintec. Everyone is different of course, but Mili has been working out great for me."

For Birth Control "I started taking the Mili contraceptive pill on a Sunday, and the next day I had the WORSE migraine ever. I have had a migraine for the last 4 days and it will not go away. This medicine gave me TERRIBLE MOOD SWINGS and severe aches in my neck and shoulder area. I had to be prescribed migraine medication. I am currently waiting to be transferred to a different birth control. DO NOT TAKE!"

For Birth Control "My doctor switched me to this birth control from Norethindrone because he said Mili tablets work better. I was taking Mili tablets for 3 months and it started causing me to break out on my forehead really bad. I'm 39 years old and don't get acne anymore, but this caused raised red bumps primarily on my forehead. I stopped taking them and my acne cleared up. No other side effects, except for that. I am sexually active and it helped prevent pregnancy, but I'm switching my birth control to something I know has worked for me before."

For Birth Control "I had been on several birth controls that gave me bad side effects such as weight gain/water retention and nausea to the point of puking. Once I went on this one the side effects went away and I have been on this one for a few years with no issues."

For Birth Control "I had been on tri-sprintec for years for acne that was OUTRAGEOUS! Never wanted to go out, etc. Recently switched to this so I could have consistent pills (not fluctuations like most) and go without a period for 3 months. Welp, I've been fatigued, extremely hungry, more irritable & sad than normal, weight fluctuations, waking up super weight down there & spotting/light bleeding!!! First month was fine but I got annoyed when I had to start wearing panty liners & it was enough to mess up my shorts. BC works great for some & terrible for others... I'm going back to my OBGYN next week"

For Birth Control "This is the worst experience I've ever had with a birth control, or any medicine for that matter. I've been on it for two weeks and it's making me miserable. I haven't eaten in 3 days because the nausea is so severe. Cold water is the only thing I can even think about keeping down. I've become very depressed and am much more anxious than I was before. I've had these problems in the past, but they were well controlled and this medicine has set me back. I've stopped taking the pills and cannot wait for it to fully leave my body."

For Birth Control "The first night I took this birth control I threw up, but my body was just adjusting and that was expected. The more you eat with it, the better you will feel, for me that's how it was at least. I became a bit more emotional in the couple weeks after I started it, but that went down with time. Overall, I think it's about as good as birth control can be."

For Birth Control "My 17 year old daughter was switched from Sprintec to Mili by pharmacist who said Sprintec is no longer available, but assured us Mili is the same thing just a different manufacturer. She broke out in cystic acne all over her face and chin. It is horrible - worst acne I have ever seen. Took her dermatologist, who threw oral antibiotic and cream at it. Just saw these reviews... yah, appointment with Doctor tomorrow. No more Mili. Oh my goodness, if I could post a before Mili and after Mili picture of my beautiful daughter - no one would ever take this medicine. My poor baby girl. This drug should be taken off the market immediately!"

For Birth Control "This birth control is terrible. I was switched from Sprintec after taking it for 6 years and I’ve been on Milli for 3 months and I’m miserable. Random cramping throughout the month, irregular periods, bloating like crazy, and breaking out like crazy!! I haven’t had acne for about 4 years and now I’m breaking out bad. I do not recommend this birth control at all. I will be calling my doctor immediately."

For Birth Control "I've been taking the Mili for almost a month now. I've not had much adverse effects from this pill. 2nd and 3rd week developed breast tenderness, also accompanied by regular cramping. No emotional changes. I am thinking it is my body adjusting to the cycle of these pills. I am hoping next 2 months my body will adjust to these or I will switch out for something different."

For Birth Control "I had the same experience as a lot of people in these reviews, I was switched to Mili from Sprintec after my pharmacy was out of my Sprintec. My pharmacist assured me it was the same exact thing and same ingredients. It does not feel like that at all. This drug is probably the worst thing I have put in my body. It made my depression 100 times worse, I have had cramps for the past two weeks, and I keep having periods of nausea and feeling fatigued. I feel like a completely different person. This makes me never want to take the pill again."

For Birth Control "I was so relieved to see I'm not the only one having major issues with this birth control. Like many, I was on Sprintec and was unexpectedly switched to Mili by my pharmacy. They say it's the same, but I seriously doubt it. I haven't had acne in years, and suddenly I have it again. My mood has always been stable on any other birth control, and now I have horrific mood swings. Literally woke up one day and could not get myself out of bed because I was so depressed. I was terrified of how low I felt. I never felt anything like that before. I have some depression and anxiety, but never like this. The following day, my mood was normal but I had terrible cramps and heavy bleeding that went on for over a week. I'm on my second pack, finishing it out, and calling it quits. I only needed a couple months' worth while my husband fully healed after his vasectomy. Thank God. I'm sure this works for some, but after seeing others with similar experiences, I think there is something off with Mili."

For Birth Control "I was on Sprintec for 5 years until this shortage, so my pharmacist switched me to Mili 2 months ago. If anything, my side effects from Sprintec have gone down. I haven't experienced any of the side effects listed other than more bloating than usual. My food cravings went away (used to have terrible ones on Sprintec), so that's a plus."

For Birth Control "I read some reviews prior to taking Mili and against my better judgment took them because I needed them and I regret it! I agree with many of the reviews here, unfortunately. For starters, prior to taking my skin recently cleared from hormonal acne, and this completely reversed that- new breakouts seem to form almost daily. Ugh! I have been spotting since taking these and it's been almost 2 months. I thought if I stuck it out, it'd stop- but no! It's been almost 2 weeks since stopping them and I'm still spotting! I'm not a sweet eater at all but now I crave sweets day and night- like waking up and snacking at 2 am. Please try another brand/ form!! This just ain't it, hopefully, this nightmare is over soon."

For Birth Control "I was originally on Sprintec for almost a year when I was abruptly switched to Estarylla by my pharmacy for a month and then to Mili which I have been taking for the past 3 months or so. I was worried that these switches would cause me to have bad side effects since I had nausea and breast pain when I first started Sprintec, however I couldn't even tell that I had switched medications. I have occasionally spotted mostly right before or after my placebo week but that happened on my other birth control pills as well. I haven't attempted to skip a period because of the spotting, but overall I have no complaints about Mili and the transition between birth control pills was not bad at all."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill for bout 1 year, for the ones who don’t like it just make sure should really give it time to adjust to your body, but everyone is different tho so I understand. When I switched over to the shot that was worse than the pill so I recently just got back on the pill after the shot and my period came back. I LOST bout 9 pounds my first time getting the shot so never again! I’m one of the rare ones usually people gain weight on depo & I never got my period. Now that I’m back on the shot, whenever I do get my period it’s always light!! No matter what I don’t have to wear pads anymore just a panty linear and I’ll only bleed for about 4 days. It did affect my mood swings though I never used to be this emotionally but it isn’t that bad, I recommend it."
