For Birth Control "I had hormonal acne for a few years on and off, and I finally worked on my skin, and it cleared up. I recently started taking this birth control, Mili, because I have endometriosis. As soon as I started taking this, my face completely broke out like crazy, and it’s done nothing but get worse. I don’t recommend this whatsoever, considering it’s barely helped with cramps and just made me break out. I was put on an acne pill, which isn’t helping, so hopefully I can switch soon."

For Birth Control "Oh my goodness, I swear this birth control is terrible, terrible, and I’m not exaggerating. Before I took Mili, I was originally taking Mononessa, but then it got discontinued, and I went on Estarylla (they are all supposed to be generics of each other - same hormones, same strengths). When I took Mili, though, my acne went crazy and went back to the skin I had before I ever started birth control. The main reason why I take birth control is for my hormonal acne, and oh boy, I would never, ever recommend Mili. The anxiety and a bit of depression I got after having to suffer crazy breakouts again was disheartening to see. I literally had a new breakout every day I was on Mili. But now, after being on it for 3 months, it’s kind of improved, but I’m still not happy at all with my skin. Mili ruined my skin once again."

For Birth Control "I read some reviews prior to taking Mili, and against my better judgment, took them because I needed them, and I regret it! I agree with many of the reviews here, unfortunately. For starters, prior to taking, my skin recently cleared from hormonal acne, and this completely reversed that-new breakouts seem to form almost daily. Ugh! I have been spotting since taking these, and it's been almost 2 months. I thought if I stuck it out, it'd stop-but no! It's been almost 2 weeks since stopping them, and I'm still spotting! I'm not a sweet eater at all, but now I crave sweets day and night-like waking up and snacking at 2 a.m. Please try another brand/form! This just ain't it, hopefully, this nightmare is over soon."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Mili for almost a year (a year in August). This is my first time being put on birth control, and I have had no complex issues thus far. When I first started taking them, I had a couple of issues with acne on my face. After my body got used to the pill, my face cleared up, and I was fine. It took me 2-3 weeks to get used to it, then after, it was smooth sailing for me. The first period I had wasn’t heavy, but I was on it for the full 7 days instead of my normal 4 to 5 day period. After the first period, it went back to my regular 4-5 day periods. If you’re using Mili for the first time, I recommend carefully taking it since the tablets are so tiny, it’s easy to drop and lose a tablet. I hope this helped!!"

For Birth Control "I couldn't figure out why I was randomly getting acne, and when I say acne, I am talking about cystic breakouts every day on my chin and jawline. I changed my diet, my water intake, my vitamins, spent hundreds on face wash, only to find out it was this birth control. I was originally prescribed Sprintec, which was perfect for me, no symptoms. Then the pharmacy switched me to Mili 3 months ago. DO NOT get on this pill or let your pharmacy change the brand. If you are having random symptoms after starting this pill, take action and GET OFF THIS PILL."

For Birth Control "I was switched to Mili after being on Sprintec for 2 years, and it was the worst! I started having terrible chin acne like never before, and it still hasn’t gone away after being on Mili for about 6 months. Now I'm 2 months back onto Sprintec and still can’t fix my acne from the pill. I had nausea, spotting here and there, and my moods were terrible. I was so irritable and anxious my boyfriend thought something was seriously wrong with me. I don’t recommend this pill at all."

For Birth Control "So, so, so bad. My pharmacy switched me without my consent. They told me it was the same, and I believed them. Six months later, I think I finally figured out it was the cause of my ongoing headaches, skin breakouts, constant fatigue, frequent lightheadedness, and tons of food aversions. Do not take this BC, and if you’re on it, I recommend getting off it ASAP!"

For Birth Control "Okay, this is the best experience I’ve had with a birth control pill so far. Started because of irregular and heavy periods and painful acne. About 1 and 1/2 months on the pill, the heavy irregular period stopped and acne was gone. After about 3 months, my period is light, short, and painless. I also no longer get painful acne. No mood swings. I was prescribed Sprintec in 2018, which caused me to bleed heavier and caused cystic-like acne. I recommend Mili :)"

For Birth Control "This is the worst! I have been on Sprintec or Estarylla for 5+ years due to extreme stage 4 endometriosis. Right after my 6-hour excision, Walgreens switched me over to Mili. I had 3 weeks of Estarylla that I took after the surgery and started on the Mili when I ran out. I have bled ever since, and the pain I’m experiencing is insane! I had severe pain every day before Sprintec, and it was a literal lifesaver for me. My face has broken out horribly, and I cannot get it under control. The intense nausea this pill has caused is forcing me to take Zofran around the clock. The migraines I’ve been experiencing are debilitating. I’m on it through the placebos, and yet I’m still bleeding and developing cysts, which the Sprintec helped avoid. I feel like the results of that very expensive surgery were ruined thanks to this switch. I guess on the upside, I lost 15 lbs, but that’s mainly because I can’t eat anything anymore, even though I am starving! I hate this pill."

For Birth Control "I, like many others on here, switched to Mili due to the Sprintec shortage. I definitely have the same issues many have: yeast infections (never had one until I switched to Mili), weight gain, acne, heavier periods, cramps, headaches, tender breasts. I even waited the 3 months for my body to regulate on Mili (per my doctor's instruction), and honestly, each month, a symptom got worse. I went to my gynecologist, and they are switching me back to Sprintec with a note that says not to substitute. Definitely not happy with Mili."

For Birth Control "I have been on Sprintec for 3 years, and due to a shortage, they switched me to Mili. I was assured it was the same as Sprintec, but boy were they wrong. I've been on Mili for 2 months now, and I have had way worse side effects than I ever did with Sprintec. My breasts went up almost two cup sizes. I have horrible bloating constantly and constipation. I also have been spotting in between periods more frequently. My acne is worse than it typically is, and I am hungry all the time, where with Sprintec it never changed my appetite. I do not suggest taking this pill, and thankfully I will be back on Sprintec after this month."

For Birth Control "I, unlike others, haven’t experienced mood swings with this, or severe weight gain, or horrible acne, but it has increased my breakouts. However, this is the worst thing I’ve ever been in my life. I started BC years ago for my cramps, but have changed over the years because they stopped working for my cramps. I was put on this, and I get my period every other week, and on top of that, my cramps are worse than they were before I was even on BC. I literally cry from pain and can’t move and sleep all day."

For Birth Control "My daughter was on Sprintec, and the pharmacists put her on Mili, saying it was the same. IT IS NOT THE SAME. At this moment, my daughter is upstairs in her bed, struggling with severe anxiety and depression. Her face is completely broken out with cystic acne. She cannot stop crying and cannot figure out what's wrong with her. She says, 'She just can't with life.' Mili is an awful drug. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. This should be taken off the market, and those taking it should be prepared and understand the impact on women."

For Birth Control "This birth control is terrible. I was switched from Sprintec after taking it for 6 years, and I’ve been on Mili for 3 months, and I’m miserable. Random cramping throughout the month, irregular periods, bloating like crazy, and breaking out like crazy! I haven’t had acne for about 4 years, and now I’m breaking out bad. I do not recommend this birth control at all. I will be calling my doctor immediately."

For Birth Control "I have never been on birth control, I have always had fears of it and how it would affect my body. I recently just had a pregnancy scare and was not pregnant, just a week late. My OBGYN prescribed me Mili because I am with a partner, and I have believed I have endometriosis for years, hence my heavy, heavy periods and awful cramps. I am a small person and struggle with severe acne, but I have gotten it down to mild acne. I haven’t started the pill yet, I will on Sunday. I just want to hear back from other people's experiences who have a similar situation?"

For Birth Control "I just finished my first cycle on Mili. I have always experienced irregular periods and recently started getting bad acne on my back and arms. Mili was the first time I was able to predict my period, which was awesome! My acne started to go away, overall, I felt fine-just cramping the first few days. My period on Mili is a different story. The first day of my period was uncomfortable but manageable. The second day I felt fine until around dinner, when my stomach really started to cramp. Took some Advil and called it a night. The third day was the worst I've ever had my period. Around 3:00, after feeling fine all day, I broke into a random cold sweat, started getting shaky, and barely made it to the bathroom to vomit. My 30-minute drive home, I was praying I wouldn't crash as my nausea was intense and my stomach felt like I had hot coals in there. The rest of my period was touch-and-go, some days better than the other but never as bad as the third day. I'm giving it one more cycle."

For Birth Control "This birth control is not for me. I was using the Ring, but I was having complications from that. My face has been breaking out terribly. I feel hungry throughout the day. I feel bloated. I'm a few days from the placebo pills, once I reach it, I will no longer put this crap in my body."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control when I was 24. I had tried everything except the pill before this point. I LOVED this BC. I broke out really bad the first month, but I did not have any extreme side effects other than that. This is a great option for people who have never been on the pill before."

For Birth Control "I've been on Mili for about a month. I am not a fan. I'm thankful I haven't experienced bloating or acne from it. But since taking this, I have experienced headaches for days at a time. My sinuses are extremely dry. I have a hard time sleeping, and when I do manage to sleep, I get startled awake by crazy dreams. Getting constantly startled awake affects my boyfriend as well. So people aside from you may experience their own negative side effects. Even when I do get a decent night rest, I spend the day exhausted; I'm talking feeling like I've taken 10 Benadryl exhausted. My eyes are constantly dry. My skin is super sensitive to the sun. And I know birth control pills are small, but these are so small that heaven forbid you drop one... good luck finding that sucker. So I would not recommend this drug. I took Sprintec for years and never had issues. So I'll either be switching back (preferably) or I'm getting on something different. But I'm not pregnant... so yay, right?"

For Birth Control "I went to pick up my normal Sprintec from the pharmacy, but apparently, Mili is a CVS-preferred prescription. I was told they are the “same,” minus the inactive ingredients. I looked it up, and it was true, so I decided to try it. At first, I didn’t feel anything different, except my skin did. The worst breakouts I’ve had since puberty."

For Birth Control "I was given Mili as a one-month substitute for my regular birth control Estrylla and was told it works the same. Unfortunately, it was everything but. For almost the entire month, I’ve felt extremely emotional, moody, fatigued, and sore. I usually struggle with acne in mild bursts around my period, but I haven’t had so many breakouts in years since starting it… I thought I was going crazy, but then I remembered I was taking something different."

For Birth Control "I will never recommend Mili. I was given Mili by my pharmacy because Sprintec was on some sort of shortage. I was told it was the exact same thing. After taking Mili for a few months, I can confirm it is NOT the same thing. The weight gain, headaches, mood swings, acne, and bloating are things I NEVER experienced while I was on Sprintec and immediately started feeling when I was switched to Mili. I am very unhappy with the results and have requested to switch to a different pill again."
