For Birth Control "I just recently switched to Blisovi Fe 1.5/30 from a different birth control and I can say this one isn’t much better. I switched last time for throwing up at night however now I have extreme nausea every morning I wake up with this one. It’s getting worse and worse each morning."

For Birth Control "Just recently started taking birth control for the first time. So far it hasn't been that bad. Little bloated, tenderness in the breast area, slightly nauseated at times but honestly nothing unbearable. It comes with the territory of having a menstrual cycle. Hopefully it works and unlike most people, don't have to try many to find one that works well. Best of wishes."

For Birth Control "This birth control gave me no side effects at first. After about two months I got a yeast infection due to the hormones changing the habitat in my vagina. Since that first yeast infection sex has hurt and made me bleed every single time since. And every third week I seem to get a yeast infection. Need to switch ASAP I’m sick of vaginal itching and painful sex."

For Birth Control "I am 19 and I have been on this birth control for over a year now. I was originally on a lower dose but since I kept getting my period on days other than the placebo pills, the doctors upped my dosage. For the past year, I have dealt with higher levels of anxiety, terrible bloating to the point where I can only eat once or twice a day, and mild depression. The mood swings are horrible. I am switching as soon as possible. I don’t recommend, it has been the worst year."

For Birth Control "After my pharmacy stopped carrying Microgestin, they switched me to Blisovi without asking. I took it because it is the same dosage, but my body acts completely different to it. I have not gained weight but I am constantly tired. I have deep, painful acne although it says this can be used to clear acne. Generally, I had clear skin before taking this pill with the exception of my period week. My periods are very light and only last around three days, but it is never three consecutive days. I will have it like Tuesday, Wednesday, then Friday. Maybe that is just my body but I have to act like I am on my period all week due to the inconsistency. I do not like this pill and frankly I blame it for my acne and fatigue. I have been on it 4-5 months and I also have trouble staying lubricated during sex, which leads to severe soreness and vaginal tears. I did not have this problem before."

For Birth Control "It was the WORST experience I’ve had. I’ve had anxiety since my senior year of high school (2017); when taking the birth control (Started December 2018) it worsened my anxiety and I developed mood changes and depression during my sophomore year of college. I would be crying almost every day and even had a really thought. I stopped taking it around March or April 2019 and have been completely fine ever since. Hopefully the new BC I get won’t give me these problems like Blisovi. Also, the first time I got Blisovi it was covered but then after the third month the pharmacy only covered less than half the price so I ended up paying $30."

For Birth Control "I am going on three months on this pill. I didn't take bc for 6 years then got on this one. I have noticed bad headaches when I am suppose to be on my period week as well as some weight gain. I am petite and have noticed my boobs go a whole cup size. I also haven't really had a period for two months. Just spotting and very light for 2-3 days. not enough to even wear a tampon. I also have noticed bad acne breakouts, I might reconsider this pill."

For Birth Control "I was very nervous when my pharmacy switched my brand of birth control from Aurovela to Blisovi because I didn't have any noticeable side effects with Aurovela and was scared that would change, but it actually turned out noticeably better than Aurovela. I still have no side effects but now have ~4 day periods while I had ~6 days on Aurovela and ~8 without any, and my cramps are much better with both Aurovela and Blisovi."

For Birth Control "I started Blisovi Fe around 2 months ago and it’s been terrible. I’ve gained 20lbs and after reading all of these reviews I’ve realized it was because of this medication. I’ve been eating healthy and working out for awhile and I’ve only been able to lose 5lbs when it should be around 10lbs at this point knowing my body. I’ve also had way more bad mental health days than usual. I hope this medication works for some people!"

For Birth Control "I needed this medication to function with PCOS and PMDD, and took it continuously for 5+ years under various names (Microgestin, Junel, Loestrin). I loved it, no noticeable side effects. However, I was one of unlucky few to develop liver tumors as a result and am pretty devastated that now hormonal BC is no longer an option for me for the rest of my life. I still recommend this pill, but believe women should have liver monitoring with extended use."

For Birth Control "I started taking this medicine for a month, and then I stopped for a few months and then I started taking it again, The first time I took it all experienced was a little nausea, However the second time a took it I experienced the worst stomach pain in my life, I was debating whether to go to the ER or not, I couldn’t sleep and I was throwing up, I couldn’t eat or move, I am not sure if the pill caused this but it happened when I started taking it again so I believe it is from the pill, I experience extreme nausea now, and I barely eat, A lot of people say it can take 2-3 months for nausea to stop, so I will continue taking it, If I experience the pain I experienced last time, I am going to stop taking it. Don’t let this review determine whether you’re going to take this pill or not, every body is different ."

"Comparing this to the microgestin I used to take, it SUCKS. I have PCOS so I really have to take some form of birth control and since my pharmacy never has microgestin available so I have to take this. Before I would take any birth control at all I never had serious issues with acne it was fairly normal and stayed that way if not better with microgestin I would only break out before my period. Blisovi is awful I have had painful annoying acne pop out of nowhere! It doesn’t help that I’ve had an increase in anxiety/depression also I notice before each period I get severe lower back pain and cramping. I’m disappointed. I don’t have to worry about any copay because I don’t even want this for free."

For Birth Control "I've been on Blisovi for almost 2 months and the side effects have been constant. The headaches, occasional dizziness and not to mention the bloating every single day. Its gotten to the point where I don't recognize my own body. The first month when I was suppose to menstruate I spotted for 2 days, nothing more. The side effects out weighed the potential benefits for me. Every women is different so don't knock it until you try it."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this for 2ish years. I don’t know much about birth control, but I’ve been wondering if this is the reason I’m having so many issues. My mood is up and down and has been for a while. I’ve gained about 80 lbs in 2 years regardless of what I’ve done to lose weight. I’m going to talk with my doc about it because this is not ok and hasn’t been for a while."

For Birth Control "I was first on loestrin from March to June and I recently hopped on Blisolvi Fe 1.5/30 because I changed pharmacy and they didn’t carry my original. Since I’ve been taking this pill it’s good but not as great as Loestrin. I sometimes cramp and spot here and there which I am not used to. I still continue to have no period but it’s alright. No major weight gain or acne. It’s ok nothing really wrong with it but I do wish I had my old prescription."

For Birth Control "I have been on this terrible pill since 2016 and I went from 190lb -240lb my highest weight ever! Also I diet and nothing happens I stay bloated and aggravated and I cry for no reason at all. Some nights after I take the pill I get sweaty, diarrhea ,can’t sleep and severe stomach pain. Many more can’t think of them all but it’s bad!!! I go to the hospital when I can’t handle it and it’s not my gallbladder or nothing so I’m assuming it’s this pill, it’s every NIGHT I take it. Terrible!!! I have 5 kids so I don’t wanna stop BC but I'm really thinking of it! I feel it’s no good and my symptoms are just as like some of the ladies on here. It’s a bad pill and needs to be recalled. No sex drive at all I feel like I’m an old lady!!!! What should I do!!?!"
