"I have no idea how it works because I simply can’t insert it. At first I thought my vaginal area was too dry, so I added a bit of KY jelly, trying to not get any on the ring, which would make it slippery. Even so, I cannot get the ring in no matter how much I compress it. I’m not thrilled with the idea of having to go to my Obgyn for insertion, but I don’t have a choice. Very frustrated."

"I gave up on Estring after 90 days. It didn't help with urethra pain, hot flashes returned while using it, and now I am afraid I won't be able to remove it. The cheerful instructional video on how to remove it by Pfizer is not reassuring. I also had to add a Dotti patch in addition to the Estring to combat hot flashes. It was an expensive and unpleasant trial for me."

"I tried it for post-menopausal incontinence and vaginal odor. I loved the delivery system (insert it and forget it), but it didn't work for me. "

"I used this for vaginal and urethral atrophy. It worked great and I would still be using it but my job changed insurance and it's not covered. There is a coupon to reduce co-pay to $15.00"

"Used for urethritis. ( urgency and incontinence) and vaginal dryness. I felt it for the first day or two but after that, I am not aware it is there. 2 weeks before the 90 days are up I start getting the urgency and getting a little dry and depressed so I change it before the 90 days are up. IT $100 each ring in Canada, and I get 50% back with insurance. The awful experience of urgency and cost of incontinence products, I would pay double this."
